    FYI all - https://www.acs.org/content/acs/en/molecule-of-the-week/archive/u/urea.html
I found that article interesting. Doesn't talk about Diesel fuel much though, mostly fertilizer and such. Which should be another concern.

I guess it's time to start stocking up slowly again (not panic hoarding, but stocking up). The rumors at work are flying (not any industry specific work, or specific info, just unrelated industry shop talk) about stocking up and diesel shortages coming. Probably driven by the same social media y'all are discussing. Without getting "political" or taking "sides" on all this, one has to wonder why the USA isn't more independent on these things. Nat gas and even crude. I mean we were "energy independent" (produced at least as much as we used) back when Obama was in office.

And I don't know what the hell this "DEF/AdBlue" stuff is. Is that common in your diesel car/truck or is it industrial?

    P.S.
Maybe gas stations need to install special urinals and we all pee into them to recycle the urea.........:D Waste not want not!

I would 100% agree to stocking up and NOT panic hoarding. As current global "ripples" are going to make life a bit rough again(I think it will be similar to covid shortages IMO, not end of the world). I pay attention to alot of global marketing stuff and its crazy how 1 shortage can cause 1000. Yes UREA is a fertilizer component that is also being affected. I believe yesterday a representative of African had some concerns about Africa going into a a massive famine if UREA/grain exports are not restored. Africa being the leading sources of materials to make circuit boards and microchips, I wouldn't be surprised if computer parts became scarce for a bit. In the vape world I suspect this will cause headaches with mod rollouts/ordering if manufacturers don't have sufficient supplies on hand.

As far as USA being independant the issue lies with the means of getting said Oils. The US primarily has shale oil which is not a very clean oil to drill for, and natural gas is primarily done with hydro fracking which is not currently favorable with the public.

There's a war out there, and China is definitely not done with the pandemic. We all have to reckon with very high prices on most things.
$ 9.60 for a gallon of fuel in Norway.
Electricity prices have been just as wild before the war began as it is now.
And Norway is a major producer of electricity and oil, but it is market forces that prevail.

I sand the kitchen walls, and then I finally got together to place my last order with the chief. I removed a lot of what I had planned since NN has them, ended up with the smallest ingredient order I have ever placed

I hope you like the base. I really like it with added fruit but also good with chocolate.
I like the base just the way it is, it's absolutely perfect Fran.
Maybe later when it has gone through a number of different atty's that I will try with a little add of flavor.

I'm going to try my hand at first time DIY a week from today. I have enough flavors to test a handful of recipes so I'm good for first mix. I've got 14 flavors in shopping cart at Bull City and I'd like to place an order. It's supposed to be 104 here today, 105 tomorrow and probably no real break until late Sept. It seems I may have chosen a poor time to start DIY if hot azz temps will affect flavors during the ship time. That's my question, will 90-100 temps affect flavors during the time it takes to ship from NC to TX? Anyone notice their flavors affected when ordering in the summer? I should be able to get it out of my mailbox within a half hour once they arrive so it shouldn't bake in there for too long.

Probably OK. Bulk nic is a different story, as excessive heat can break that down some. Since most of our flavorings are for food, baking, and such, I don't think shipping temp is of much concern.

I've ordered and received concentrates from BCF, and elsewhere, during summer months. Never had a problem with the summer heat affecting flavors.

BCF does offer expedited shipping methods. I certainly would not opt for First Class Mail in summer heat as that can take up to 15 days. Priority Mail is 3-6 business days. BCF offers faster shipping options ($$).

104° ...... I would be miserable. o_O Currently it's a very comfy 59° here in the North Woods.

Nice order. I have most of those. VTA Dark Chocolate is one of my favorite chocolates.

Yes sir, spot on. Everything we consumers are currently experiencing is the direct result of... a Perfect Storm. Pandemic. War. And also, there were issues prior to both.

What our world is experiencing was/is to be expected. That's common sense.

Just read that Canada is thinking about putting warning labels on individual cigs instead of just on the package. At least they aren't putting warning labels on vapes yet. Imagine if your favorite Provari had this device may cause your lungs to collapse engraved on the side.
