So question for all you veteran mixers... how do you make Sweet&Tart chill out a bit without muting the entire recipe? even at .25% its practically body slamming every other flavor(sometimes @ 5%) into submission. Has to be some way to dull it down

I've not used that, either, but....

Maybe the "toothpick" trick that some use for honey? Dip the toothpick in the flavor, pull it out and let any excess drip off. Then use the toothpick to stir the blend, adding in a touch, in this case, of the Sweet&Tart.

it taste more or less like those lil sweet tart candies from the 80s, or maybe a pixie stick? Its not a bad flavor but I was hoping to use it to the background to the landscape of my mix. Instead even at .25% its photo bombing while exposing itself in an indecent way. It's a bit boorish.

Have you let it sit for a while? Never used it, but I thought I'd add a pat response :)

I only ever used it in a lemonade recipe and that was a long time ago.

had an orange recipe that opened yesterday, mix date was 6/3. Got another one from 5/17. Not sure how long it would need to sit but I feel like its been long enough.

I figure a month is pretty safe.

What’s everyone up to this evening?

I had a go at changing out the grip on one of my Legends. I liked the color but not the gloss finish on it.
I stretched the leather some putting the new one on and it diminished the embossing quite a bit.
Kinda just looks like wrinkled red leather now.
My first try at it though, so I can build from it for future efforts.

I’m sure that looks a lot better than I would do.
