Sigh. Here in NW Ohio we have had less than 1" of snow total and it was not at one time. I miss it. We usually have snow on the ground from December to March...
    Not much here either.

I just loaded a tank with my first time trying Fran’s cereal bites. My tastebuds aren’t as refined as most here but I barely pick up on the pomegranate and rhubarb. Definitely get the cereal, cheesecake, and Italian cream. If I mix it again I might up the Pom and rhubarb to 2% each.
If you can't taste them much then you should.

We have had one snow big enough to get the snowblower out so far. I had to give it a shot of starting fluid to get it going and shouldn’t have to. It doesn’t have ten hours of run time on it and I use true fuel in it.

I understand where you’re coming from. I grew up in Ohio and it seemed like we always had a heavy winter. I don’t miss it. It makes getting back and forth to work downtown a real pain. Wouldn’t hurt my feelings if we didn’t get any more snow the rest of winter. It’s been in the 50’s all weekend but I’m sure we’ll pay for it later.

All day company has given me a headache. Not to mention I didn't get anything done.
When it was family or close friends, I’d excuse myself saying, “I’ll let y’all visit. I’ll be in the kitchen/laundry room/yard etc if you need me.” After 15-30 minutes I’d peek back in and see if I needed to come back. If they still appeared engaged, I waited a bit longer. You’re going to wear yourself out at this rate.

Y’all can send me pictures of the snow. Bonus to living in a tropical zone, no freezing, slushy grey yuck. I do miss seeing it fall, and seeing a fresh blanket first thing in the morning, all quiet and fresh and blinding white.... but not the actual snow or the cold.

Put them to work.... lol.... has to be some things they can do to help out. Of course, it depends on whether they are family or close friends opposed to just once in a while friends. Have them bring in some of that fire wood you tell us you are always hauling in. People like to feel useful instead of just contributing to making another mess you will have to clean up when they leave.

    :)

edit...lol must have been typing about the same time.....didn't see your post^^^^

I wouldn’t mind the snow if I didn’t have to drive in it to work. If I was retired then I’d just look out the window and admire it.

I’m not going to jinx Mother Nature by mentioning the lack of snow in the Boston area so far. Last time people did that we had 4 blizzards in 4 weeks in February. I think that was 2 years ago and it sucked mightily. Especially when partly disabled w 2 small dogs that want to go out  !!!

When the older two were babies, we lived in an 1880’s brownstone. We turned the upstairs front room into a den since it had one of the working fireplaces. We’d light the fire and sit on the sofa by the big front windows and watch the snow fall in the light of the street lamp. It was magical to us. To Himself, not so much as he had to dig out the car and get to work.

I also vote against jinxing future possible snow. The year we were due to move, I declared I would never have to deal with snow again. We promptly got ten unexpected inches on Presidents Day, and 12” the following Monday.

Although a snow “holiday” would make for a perfect excuse to mix up some recipes. Or to try some of those flavors I have no idea why I ordered. reviews from site to site vary wildly sometimes, making it a crap shoot unless it’s something one of y’all have used. Right now I’m pondering the bittersweet chocolate (TPA). Maybe a mint chocolate chip ice cream? Anyone here try it before I commit to anything?

Did you miss my Bittersweet Chocolate Cheesecake? It's an old recipe of mine.

I'm vaping the strawberry crumble in one of my tanks now. I'm glad that I mixed up two sample bottles. I usually don't do that with a new recipe but I was pretty sure that I was going to like it.
