I have a scale I use for shipping small items but don't know if it would work for weighing liquid. I'm not sure if it's precise enough. I don't know that I'm ready to make that move anyway.
If, you are comfortable measuring using some other method, there is no need to change. Weighing your recipes isn't going to make them better.
If you are considering your postage scale... do make sure it has a resolution of 0.01mg capability. 0.1mg (or higher) is just not sensitive enough for small DIY batches. It might be okay, if all you mixed was ≥500mL batches. But, for 10, 15, 30mL batches; 0.01mg is really the minimum resolution you want, in order to recognize individual drops of concentrate (often weighing 0.02-0.04mg/drop).
I have one other problem also is that I have an iPhone and iPad and I don’t think the App Store has any ejuice calculators.
That is certainly something to consider. Perhaps an online calculator (like ELR), that offers weight, could be a work-around... if you wanted to try.
