    Good morning EveryOne

I've been very busy up north and also back down here in the city. Met with a record album store owner the other day. He bought 400 of my LP's. I still have several hundred rare ones I'm going to sit on for a while. Also met with an antique dealer Friday, she bought many pieces, took her two trips. Still have much left from our store. For now I'm saving the rare items.

    That's it in a nutshell..................

    ECF catching-up now......................
Wish you would check in a little more often. I was getting really worried that you were sick again,

The mix I put in my zlide lacks fruit. No chocolate either. No PB. Not even any booze. I’m sure it’s the kind of mix SMT would really like. It steeped 3 months but that didn’t help. It’s still not my favorite mix. It is decent enough to vape so I will finish it. I never dump mixes unless I have to.

    What's the recipe, please???

Enjoying one of my new mixes................

    Orange Ice Cream (6-2/5.75)

    FA Royal Orange 6%
    SSA Ice Cream 2%

mixed with one of my vanilla/cream bases:

    FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) 2.5%
    INW Shisha Vanilla 1.75%
    FLV Cream 1%
    FA Vienna Cream 0.5%

Steep time = 4 weeks / creams dictate the time / as always, YMMV

It's a very tasty full flavored orange ice cream mix.

    Somewhere between here and there
I got out a new squonk bottle for the Centaurus and filled it with the creamy custard tobacco long fill. I needed another squonk mod so I could test both of the Hellvape pro rdas I got for review. The long fill is really good and not as tobacco forward as the ruyan reserve. Both are good but like the custard one better.

also enjoying this tasty new mix...............

    Creamy Orange Peach Cake

    FA Royal Orange 2%
    FA Peach 0.8%
    FA White Peach 0.5%
    FW Vanilla Cupcake 2.5%
    FW Cake Batter Dip 0.6%

mixed with a different one of my vanilla/cream bases:

    FA Madagascar (Vanilla Classic) 2.5%
    INW Shisha Vanilla 1.5%
    WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1%
    FLV Cream 1%

Steep time = 4 weeks / bakery + creams dictate the time / as always, YMMV

It's a very smooth and flavorful mix. Orange and peaches are a profile I've tinkered with previously, but was never 100% happy with those results. The orange/peaches combination took me a while to get just right. At first the peaches were overpowering the orange. I didn't want that, had to back off the percentages on the peaches so the orange was slightly more prominent in the mix. That made the orange and peaches more nicely balanced. And in this case, "less is more" flavor-wise. They do make a very pleasing fruit combination.

In making this I cut-up some white peaches and some oranges. I taste tested combinations of both. Sucking on white peach and orange slices was very tasty!!! IRL, ripe white peaches are not very powerful flavor-wise, compared to oranges. That initially threw me for a loop with the Flavour Art flavors. With those it works the opposite. FA's peaches are the more concentrated flavors versus their Royal Orange.

@Zazie can you please add this recipe and the Orange Ice Cream (above) to your blog? TIA :)

It’s always a really nice thing to like our mixes. I’ve had a couple lately that I can’t say I really like but glad they are good enough to vape. The mixes I’m into now are 3 months steeped and I’m hoping I didn’t mix anymore boo boos.
Yeah, I've had some boo-boos for sure, though there haven't been too many that I couldn't vape through. There have been plenty that I wouldn't mix again or pursue any further.
I think I'm getting a little closer on first tries though.

I have also found that I need to mix with a higher total flavor percentage than I did with my earlier efforts, in general. I think many of my earlier efforts were below 8% total while I'm more often in the 8 - 12% range now.
I have quite a few recently that are around 15% though those are usually chasing a commercial liquid profile.

There are exceptions. I have an all Flavorah mix that I started out at 2.4% (4 flavors) but it did seem a little weak to me and have two revisions written of which the strongest is 6% total.

Many of my testers end up getting a good three month steep as well but I will occasionally try one sooner here and there.
I usually try to go in the order that they were mixed.

I do still have a few from December yet that I keep passing over wondering, "What was I thinking with those?"

The custard one did sound good.

So you are in the city now being very busy.?

    Yes.

It's been hot here with temps in the mid to upper 80s.

Too funny, the weather app on my phone says it's currently raining here. Looking out the window there aren't any rain clouds to be seen. In fact it's very Sunny.
We totally need some rain, big time.................

There is no sun in our forecast and yet it’s been sunny all day so far. Hoping the afternoon rain happens. 88 here. UGH

I have a few more mixes that are still going through revisions. A butter cookie pudding, a creamy cannoli (base) and a chocolate eclair each need more tweaking. Been working on those for a while now. Hopefully they will be post-worthy soon, or maybe they won't. LOLz.
