:w00t: everyone knows rain doesn't actually have a smell, but......

petrichor is what is known as that amazingly wonderful Earthy smell we experience during and after it rains
and it's one of many peoples favorite smells.........

jus' in case ya were wondering........ "it is caused by the water from the rain, along with certain compounds like ozone, geosmin, and plant oils"
    science........ gotta luv it baby!!!

"Petrichor is the smell of rain. The word comes from the Greek words 'petra', meaning stone, and 'ichor', which in Greek mythology refers to the golden fluid that flows in the veins of the immortals."

did i mention that i love it when it rains?

I've lived in the country for most of my life and always loved the smell of a rainy day. Doesn't mean I'm in love with rain. Too much is very destructive.

Looks like my SM pkg hasen't yet reached Ca. It just cleared customs in Hong Kong. 8 days.

As of yesterday, my SM package was in Los Angeles and in the process of being handed over to the USPS. Haven't checked tracking today. I'm in no hurry, whenever it gets here, it gets here. :)

UPS has a package out for delivery today, some vape gear from Vicious Ant (Philippines).

I think of Butch often. It was his birthday back in June.

Will NolaMel be back on the forum sometime? Do you know?

I do like t-storms and lightning. Daily rain? No thanks. And certainly not like what you have there or what the PacNW used to see. IIRC you're originally from out that way? I used to fly to Seattle a lot for work. In my free time I enjoyed driving over to Snoqualmie Falls. I totally loved trekking down the trail and just sitting at the bottom of the falls for a good hour or two. It was so peaceful and relaxing.

That whole part of our country is just gorgeous. I spent some good quality time in Olympic National Park. To me, the place is magical. Also hiked around the lower parts of Mount Rainier National Park.

I would love to head back out that way again.

I didn't ask Mel if she was planning on hopping back on the forum. She asked how everyone was doing. Mel mentioned taking an extended break from all forms of social media. And I can totally relate to that. Every now and then I disappear for a stretch. It's never planned, it just innocently "happens" whenever.

And we know your "disappearances" are nothing to do with alien abductions, which just happen to be rather common in the NE, especially in the rural areas.

I mixed the Mousse Mango at 2.2% and it's had a long steep. There is nothing offensive about the flavor. The taste of mango is rather light and might be better at 3%. I haven't vaped it long enough to have an opinion really but thinking another mango added would be better.
