I used to hate cutoff valves when I did that stuff for a living. Always in places that are hard to get to, with just a short piece of pipe sticking out of the wall. I had a major hot water leak in the bathroom this summer. Luckily I spotted it right as it happened so there wasn't a flood, but the cutoff on top of the water heater was jammed tight. Had to use a wrench to close it and burned the back of my finger on the exhaust. I wonder if opening and closing them regularly would help.
I've already done a thing where I loosened the nut behind the knob just a bit and the valve opened easily. I wonder if a person could just pull that part totally out and swap from a new set. Replacing just the guts instead of soldering the whole new one on??

I freshened up Tempest and we're sharing the Franana,

His cottontails are still breaking in but Franana tastes pretty good already, thank you!

(Looking closer at the pic now, I think Tempest must be shedding a little bit)

Haha, I don't really know, but he might be making sure that none of my Serpents are lurking about!
(even though he's bigger than they are!)
It looks like he's really keeping his eyes peeled for those Serpents now!

    five eyez, interesting.......

a bumblebee has five eyez..... 2 compound eyes, each composed of 4500 "little eyes" called ommatidia, and 3 simple eyes, called ocelli

unlike humanz, they can see ultraviolet light and their color vision is five times faster than human vision and among the fastest color vision yet clocked in the animal world

    science.......... gotta love it..............

    Somewhere between here and there
The washer and dryer were delivered. However my wife informed me that the dryer vent hose was too long making it stick out too far into the laundry room so upstairs I go again with tools in hand. I hate climbing behind the dryer. Anyway, I shortened it and made it out alive. The leveling feet on the dryer turned easy by hand but the washer ones had to be turned with pliers. I think the wife is pacified now so maybe I’ll get a little rest.

The berry mocha is interesting. I would have never thought to combine berries with cocoa and chocolate. Curious to hear what you think.
