DD and SIL and son have gone to a show in Boston. They left really early to check out some stores and get something to eat. Heather has been here since they left which was nice to visit with her. The foster child here has wanted to go fishing so Heather and her hubby are gonna take him out night fishing a little later.
I just sat down to eat myself.
Just finished cutting it and waiting for French fries to cook. It did come out good. Nice smoke ring and of course I sampled the end piece.
We finished eating and there’s plenty left for tomorrow. The wife picked up an apple pie for dessert. I’m going to wait a while for that.
"Only" 86 atm, and that's probably as high as it will go today. Better than the low 90s they predicted, so I guess that's good.

Howdy random folks. Work was easy today, got off at noon. I work again tomorrow. I came home, had some lunch, called DD, then took a nap. No rain today, but it's threatening to now. I'm hearing a bit of thunder and there's thunderstorms in the guess for this evening. However the rain that they've kept promising gets pushed back. Originally it was supposed to rain all weekend, and we only had a little bit on Friday. Now it's guessed to rain all next week. At least the temperatures are cooler, only 90⁰ for a high today.
