Something that might be worth a try for bakery type mixes could be to use a little Cap Sugar Cookie in lieu of sweetener. Some folks find Sugar Cookie to be a pretty sweet flavor.
Sugar Cookie is way too sweet for me.

    Another good idea, thanks.
I have honeysuckle tfa, which I can't remember using, Would that work?

Imo, no. Honeysuckle, while on the sweet side, has it's own flavor, and would make a big change to the mix.

    Somewhere between here and there
I have a question: For my last few mixes I tried using cap sweetener, if the recipe called for sweetener. I don't really like it in my mixes, all I taste is sweet, I used to use marshmallow in place of sweetener, for my taste that was better.
Now for my question, if a recipe calls for sweetener, do you just leave it out or substitute with something else?
Side note: I mix for a few other people and they like the sweetener in their mixes, so this is a matter of my taste.
For me it depends on the other flavors in the recipe. If I feel like there’s enough sweet flavors in the recipe then I just leave it out. Otherwise I’ll use 1 drop per 10ml of the Cap if I feel it’s needed.

From my limited experience and browsing the notes at ELR again, I would agree with David that Honeysuckle probably wouldn't be a good choice unless a bit of floral wouldn't hurt the mix.

I looked at the notes for FA Pear again and at 1-2% it might add some sweetness as well as juiciness and would probably be covered up by other fruits in a mix, unless very lightly flavored. I'm not sure how other pears might work out in this capacity.
I'm also not sure how it would fare in non-fruit mixes although I did see a note that mentioned using it with creams. Can not confirm from experience.
