I’m getting closer on a cranberry mix that I like.

10% Tfa cranberry
1% inw cactus
4% Fuji
2% EM

This batch is a lot closer but got a bit too sweet. Next time I’m going to cut the em down to 1%. I’m also thinking of adding 1% of lemon. I don’t have the fe lemon but if I like it with lemon then I’ll order some.

I am so glad you shared this in the first place. My version is all I vape these days. I have more Fuji awaiting me in Seattle.

I made a 120ml batch with 7% TFA Cranberry, 4% Fuji, 2% EM, 1% Molinberry Shape Up Pear, .25% FE Lemon, and .50% WS-23%. I divided it up into 4 30ml. bottles and have played with them a bit. I had two 30ml bottles left that I made before so more to play with.:) I added 1% Menthol to one bottle and though I liked it, the menthol seems to overpower the Fuji. I added 1% INW Natural Mint to one bottle and that was nice but it needed some sweetener and I don't really think this mix needs the mint. I added an additional .25% WS-23 to one and that seems to be my favorite so far. Some days I like it a bit sweeter, so .50% SugarDaddy is perfect.

Anyway, thanks so much for the idea!

    Somewhere between here and there
I’m glad to have finally shared something useful. I was initially trying to copy a vendor juice that I buy on rare occasions but I think I can eventually come up with something I like even better.

Is he open to some learning? He'd have to pony up for his initial setup, nic, pg, vg, tools and such. You could tell him which flavors to get for what he likes, so minimal there, for now.
I honestly don't see that happening but the offer is on the table so balls in his court. Guessing when he runs out he'll be back at the shop.

So I was reading on a e liquid DIY blog that he uses Smooth in all his recipes. Thoughts on Smooth flavor as an additive?

Some mixers put Smooth in everything they make. One of the ingredients is triacetin which is a miracle for smoothing out harshness, toning down bitter, that sort of thing. One mixer I respect said that it has never hurt anything he has put it in. :) I don't use it often myself. One major property of triacetin is that it acts as a wick conditioner and will make your wicks last longer.

Might try a touch of dragon fruit or kiwi for pop.

What sort of scenario would you use MTS vape wizard (fa) - is it a smootherouterer like smooth?

I can't WAIT til my tastebuds return and I no longer need sweet high percentage diy flavourings
I started having to reduce flavors faster than I anticipated. I would suggest you keep your batches 30ml or less for a couple of months.

    Smootherouter and mouthfeel.
I use it when a flavor as a bite to it. Orange tootsie had a citrus bite so I tried a drop in a tank and liked it. Although I didn't want to loose the berry bite I did want the mouthfeel in chocolate raspberry so I used a llittle there too. I'm going to try it in my strawberry peach to see if it makes it better.

MTS Vape Wizard and TFA Smooth are basically the same thing and will have the same effects on juice. It isn't a bad thing to use 1% or so in a liquid that needs to be smoother or where the flavors need some help blending. I keep a bottle of unflavored that I add Smooth or Vape Wizard to and I call it "Coil Cleaner." It doesn't really clean coils but does condition wicks. It has its place and I do use it in some, not many, mixes.

Oh, and it does add body so is useful in a mix that is only thin fruits.

Just made my strawberry peach with Strawberry Ripe instead of Strawberry, Raspberry Sweet instead of Raspberry and Smooth instead of MTS (only instead because it's the first time I've used it, either are a new addition).
I would've used White Peach instead of Juicy Peach but I think that's already subbed in Fuzzy Navel and I wasn't impressed with the smell out of the bottle.
Freshly shaken I think it smells better. I might have to try to 50/50 blend of strawberries (and then buy a 120ml bottle of ripe).

Does Strawberry Ripe have the same color change as Strawberry? (Both TFA.)

I find MTS adds more body to a vape; but with the cost of more in high notes. Smooth is a bit more discriminatory for the overall profile; but lacks some of the thickness.

    Both stomp on flavors.

I find MTS best for tobacco profiles (where brightness isn't a priority to start). Smooth is a bit more selective, but without the mouthfeel boost. I also don't consider either; unless all other tweaks fall short.
As always; your mileage may vary. :)

For me personally, I have to say, I have never paid any attention to color (as it relates to flavor). Taste is taste, and color is color; and I have found little to no relation between the two. As always; I respect those with different perceptions. :)

It's nice to have clear flavors for your wicks but you'd miss a lot of good flavors if you only bought the clear ones.
