I store mine on/in this big think I like to call "notebook/sheaf of paper with raggedy edges of bits of paper sticking out."
It works out fantastic, I just have to look at it BEFORE I mix, so I don't get some sort of ink dissolving liquid on it, and write the CURRENT ONES down big enough to like, dry out and avoid splashes.
As to steeping/tasting it is HERE I shine. I RECORD myself (voice record) as I taste stuff, and like, THEN add it to the recipes that need it, so they don't get all grubby and whatnot.
It's just the painful extra bit concerning like, listening to my "notes to self' LOL as I write them down.
There may be a future for me in medical transcribing.... Maybe.
I'm just happy to be "high tech" in one arena, although to be fair the start of voice recording technology began in the twenties or prior even? So it's not really high tech but YES it works. LOL.
