I've thought my Bourbon Mousse Baccy just tasted like a very strong tobacco but I've come to the conclusion that it's overflavored at 8%. That's just strange but I'm going to drop back on the flavor and mix again.
I have used all of those ingredients in the past (though not in the last couple of years). It looks like it is wanting to be a blueberry/grape(y) sweet-tart candy. If, that indeed, is what you are aiming for; I might be inclined to make the following tweaks:
7% for TFA Blueberry Wild, and TFA Grape juice, is not super excessive (though on the upper end)... IF using only one or the other. But, combined, that is looking like it will just steam-roller over anything else added to the mix. I would ramp each of these two back to 4%. If one is too dominating of the other; reduce it further, rather than increase the weaker. Remembering this is a candy with fruit accents vs. fruit with candy accents (if, indeed, that is what you are striving for).
TFA Smooth can have its usefulness; rounding off sharper/harsher edges. It can also be a flavor "flattener" (by which I mean it can make flavors seem more dull/less bright). I'm not real sure of its need here. I would be inclined to leave it out until I felt it was necessary. And then, if I felt it was warranted; I would begin trying it at 0.25-0.50%. (Note: I am most concerned Smooth is going to knock out any "tart" presence of the Sweet and Tart.)
TFA Sweet and Tart: this is where the recipe is getting its "candy" contribution (think the old-school SweetTart/Smarties candies; though a bit anemic on the "tart" part). 3% is a reasonable starting point; but 3.5% might be even more appropriate, if CANDY is what you are looking for.
TFA Sweetener will certainly boost the sweetness of the overall recipe. But, like the TFA Smooth, I personally would leave this out of my initial test (until I knew it was needed). Both can be easily added later; without adding to the required aging. An alternative would be to mix two batches. One with Smooth and Sweetener; and the second without.
So, all said and done; I might start with an adjusted recipe that looks like this:
4% Blueberry Wild (TFA)
4% Grape juice (TFA)
3.5% Sweet and Tart (TFA)
(I think(?) the key, to getting this recipe right, will be finding the proper balance of these three ingredients.)
Then, after vaping a bit of this initial mix (and felt one, or both, were required), I would consider adding (or include in a second batch; for side-by-side comparison):
0.25% Smooth (TFA)
and/or
0.50% Sweetener (TFA)
Now, for my denial of all responsibility:
This is only how I would go about experimenting with these particular ingredients. Depending on hardware used, and personal taste preferences, you may end up liking something entirely different.![]()
Try any of the cranberry?
Which one?I've got one in a tank now. I'm not loving it. I actually liked the one with 3% pom in it better.
Which one?
For my candy vapes FW and HS blueberry are all I use. For grape candy FW grape and FE sweet grape work well.
I swear I can’t taste it at allYou really need the VT Light Rum. It has a very nice boozy taste.
Do you have the Rum or the Light Rum?I swear I can’t taste it at all. I’m going to try again with a higher %. I started low and worked up, but it’s like it’s not there at all. I even smelled it... yes, it smells like rum before I mix it??? Idk, stupid taste buds

Not sure where my brain is going with that one yet but I can't vape coffee.Chocolate cheese rolls are good, think you'll probably like it Fran. I'd add a nut element myself. Maybe hazelnut & cream plus a drop or two of coffee.
I wouldn't want to taste the coffee in this case, just an additive. Not sure where my brain is going with that one yet but I can't vape coffee.
I do use a coffee accent once in awhile. I'm good as long as I can't taste it.I wouldn't want to taste the coffee in this case, just an additive.
Both. Light rum is the one I can’t tasteDo you have the Rum or the Light Rum?
