Empty your tanks and put them in one ziplock (pressure change may make them leak). Remove batteries, put them in battery cases (must be something where they can’t touch, so not loose or they’ll seize them) in another ziplock. Internal battery, turn off. Put all mods in (you guessed it) a ziplock. When I fly where there’s no TSA precheck, those baggies go in a tray with cell phone, tablet or computer through the xray machine. Baggies make it easier to keep them organized and quicker to put back in purse/carryon, also easier for them to see what they are and avoid you having your bag searched. You can carry as many under 3.4 oz bottles of liquid that will fit in a quart baggie (please check your airline, some require original or unsealed bottles, not our diy kind). Southwest doesn’t care. I left half a tank full in the Flint in my purse, and it did fine. Do NOT put any mods or batteries in checked luggage. It’s illegal for the batteries, and unfortunately, you’re likely to be short a mod when you get your luggage.
    Thank you much!!:)

When I ordered the bottles from ECX I had INW Chocolate Cream in my cart for some reason.I figured I must want it or it wouldn't be there so I left it. I also got JF Strawberry Harvest and 2 Mangos ( FLV and FE. Strawberry is one of the few fruits I like and I've never had a problem tasting it. I'm supposing I should do sft's on all 4 flavors.

I am, personally, not a fan of dropper caps:
    upload_2019-3-21_16-17-0-png.804479

as the rubber used, to make both the bulb, as well as the bottle seal, is some of the most gas permeable material e-liquid can be exposed to. That can encourage flavor loss of volatile concentrates (like many lemons), and possibly oxidation of nicotine.

If the usage timeline is around a month; I doubt it is likely to be a problem. But, if the timeline is likely to be measured in months; I would look for a different cap/closure. But, that's just me.:D

That is interesting, never heard that before.

I have carried over a trust with using glass vessels with some of the bitters, shrubs and floral water I use for mixing cocktails - plus with my commercial juice I have notice some bottles retain odor and even discolour. Was just curious as to what others used for their mixes.

Don’t mind dripping with a glass dripper, although trying to fill a tank or squonk bottle is a long drawn out PIA

Good morning, diy folks.:) Anyone have plans for today? I'm contemplating a couple more sft's. Running low on my preferred bottles for them. Will have a new supply tomorrow hopefully.:)

    Good morning Fran!
I’m going to whip up a few sft’s as well today. I may mix up a couple of recipes. I’m running low on juice- purposely trying to vape up what I have already mixed.

Other than that I’ll check BCF to see if they received the VT Lemon Meringue Tart yet so I can finally put in an order.

What are you planning to sft?

    Good morning.

I plan on having a go at DaMomma's RY4 Delight recipe that’s posted over on ELR. And a few more SFT (is that Single Flavour Tester?). And of course there will be much kitty time in between.

I use glass dropper bottles. Guess I've been lucky but I haven't gotten much of any flavor fade from using them.

Her(Alisa) ry4 delight is very good. My favorite recipe of hers is Bust-a-Nut, without the sweetener. I'm not fond of sweet juice but it's a matter of taste.

Speaking of sft's. Does anyone f have suggested steep time on the Flapper Pie,FE Sweet Rice or FLV Pastry Zest and Jammy Berry?
Never mind the Sweet Rice. I found a note on the 2-3 week steep.

FE Sweet Rice is a hard one to say. If you are mixing a 10ml SFT I would suggest trying it at different intervals because I find it does fade. Start out with a short steep — maybe 1 day, then again maybe around day 3, 5 and 7. In Shyndo’s Mango Sticky Rice recipe he suggests S&V using 5% FE Sweet Rice along with other flavors. I have only used it in a mix however some people will say it has a bitter taste which I do not get and it could be the other ingredients in the recipe offset this for me.

Edit: I did not see your post before I posted the above.
