Which recipe for DLLT did you use? I ask because that liquid tastes lemony to me but there is a lot of bakery in it which takes away from the lemon (for me) and you might have gotten some lemon fade. FE Lemon is probably the most versatile for the purposes of doctIoring up.

I want to doctor the commercial juice. I'm nearing the end of one 100ml bottle and still have one unopened. I plan to open the new one just before I finish the first and do a little comparison, but I wasn't wowed by lemoniness from the moment I tried it , and it has gone downhill from there. My tastebuds could be the problem, of course, but I figure upping the lemon might help them get more out of this stuff.

Do you make your own citric acid solution with distilled water? If so, what proportions do you use? I've got a sack of citric acid in crystalline form (it's great for cleaning toilets), and it would be nifty if I could put some of it in service for DIY'ing.

In a related matter, I can barely taste lemon in Dinner Lady Lemon Tart, of which I have 100mls plus to finish up. I'm thinking of doctoring it with one or more of the lemons I have (CAP Juicy Lemon, CAP Lemon Meringue Pie, FE Lemon, FA Lemon Sicily, INW Lemon Mix, OOO Lemon Round Candy, VT Lemon Meringue Tart, VT Sour Lemon) to make it pop more. Any suggestions on which to use and whether citric acid might help?

I made my own from some crystals I bought on amazon. It’s a 10% solution and you can use distilled water or pg. I mixed it up in distilled water.

I’ve done a lot of reading about it and have been using it at 1 drop per 10ml. Just a tiny amount. But being the adventurous mixer I am I thought I’d give 1 drop per 15mls. It really does help extend the citrus flavors.

It’s not something that jumps out and says - look at me! - it’s subtle. I’ll be vaping a lemonade and suddenly realize that it’s still pretty flavorful at week 4 or 5. And if I do need to boost the citrus flavoring I don’t need to add as much as without the ca.

If I were boosting that recipe I would 1st draw off 20-30 mls or how ever much you’d vape in 1-2 weeks and use that amount to boost. Then when that’s gone do the same over again. No point in wasting flavor on 100ml that will fade. Unless you vape 100 mls in 1-2 weeks lol!

I use both the Lemon Meringue Tart VT (my absolute fave lemon!) and Sour Lemon VT to boost any lemon mixes that need it.

If the lemon flavor is totally faded then I would add whatever the original % of Lemon that the recipe calls for. Or whatever your personal preference is. Adjusted of course to the new volume of 20-30 mls.

FE Lemon is a very long lasting lemon flavor at some point you might want to grab some of it. It fades the slowest of all the lemons I’ve used.

Holy crud. I hope y'all had nice mixing days.

I started packing the kitchen and the husband "made me a chart" (he did all the cabinets were Numbered (in real life and on the chart) and I was like ""WHHHY" and so I started at G not A (the spices I was like, get them out of the way) but that was also a "crime" apparently but like, none of the containers he wanted me to use were even BIG enough. So I told him he better GIVE me the packing supplies and LEAVE.

So I spent 3.5 hours packing the kitchen because I was still doing it when the movers arrived but they were here a couple hours, so I had time. Then I was scurrying about at the husband's bidding. Like: Grab this get that.

The movers were awesome. They were like, "You guys both look so tired I'm sorry." I told the husband to tip them 150 bucks each and if I factor in the pain and misery avoided, like I think that is LOW. Because every time I looked up they were doing stuff like moving the couch.

So, then the husband was like, "Okay we go to Douglas for one night now." And I was like (mentally) THIS PLAN SUCKS and I begged him to remain here because I just got here LATE last night, man, and I am TIRED.

Sometimes I don't appreciate the husband enough (LOL chart or no chart) because he was like, "No honey that's FINE." He has to get all the utilities done and "nest" for me. Which is fine because i'm the kind of person who left alone would live out of the dryer. So, less arguing etc.

Then I vacuumed the entire house and found all sorts of less screws, meds, etc. and MY MISSING DOGGY.

There was a lot of grossness on the floor, but I'm sorry I am also not the type of person to move heavy dressers so I can vacuum behind them.

I have snacks and ensure shakes. I was thinking MAYBE McDonalds (I can go through the drive through). I am EXHAUSTED. I guess I will have to see how I feel.

Anyway I have new tanks and batteries and my Lost Vape was indeed in accidental stealth mode like I thought.

GOD. Every time it is harder. Every time.

I kind of wish I'd kept one of the charts. It was precious.

You need to watch out with citric acid as it has a tendency to mute some flavors. It can add a tad of tartness to some fruit flavors but can mute others. Malic acid does almost the exact same thing and if you dont want to make a blend then just order some tfa sour. Thats exactly what it is

I’m really stuck on the LMP recipe. I’d say I’m vaping it about 70% of the time when I’m not at work. I use a menthol tobacco at work that has almost no scent since I have to stealth vape there. That and snus get me through the work day.

Ecigexpress has FE Lemon. Super Concentrated Lemon Flavoring at Vaperstek, VapingZone, and a few other places I can't remember right now is the same as the FE.
