@ChelsB - Could any of the meds you're taking lately be affecting your sense of taste? I know some can/do for other people.

By the way, is that Peppermint TFA? If it is...I don't see how you can do 7% and vape it. It would give me a massive headache. I've used just 3-4 drops in a 30mL mix and that's strong enough for me and a guy I make it for regularly who used to smoke menthols for 40+ years.
Plain TFA Peppermint is a very old ADV of mine and I vape it at 6% (Used to be 10).

so I tweaked my pina colada and I'm still loving this
    TFA Pineapple 3.4%
    PUR Golden Pineapple 3.4%
    TFA Coconut 2.25%
    TFA Coconut Candy 2.25%
TFA Black Cherry .25% (could probably use maraschino cherry, but I find it overpowering)
    TFA Key Lime .25%
    TFA Meringue 1%
    TFA Sweet Cream 1%
FW Vanilla Bean Ice Cream 1%
    TFA Brandy 1%
    DIYFS Rum 1%
    ws-23 .3%
total flavoring 17.10% it could probably be lowered but as is it's a good shake and vape

Pina Colada INW @ 4% is a pretty incredible PC vape. I got it during the sale and after 3 days I have to say, it's pretty tasty.

Just in case you do try it, it didn't get good for me till after 3 weeks. It is very sundae-ish in flavor. It does lean towards the sweet side.

Thanks for the heads up. Here is another RY4 type juice that I like YMMV. I vape it either fresh or steeped depending on what I have on hand. Adjust to suit your taste.

    3-2-1 RY4 (3-2-1 RY4)
    2% DFS Holy Vanilla
    1% FLV Milk & Honey
    3% JF RY4 Double (I use 4%)

Thanks, @Letitia ! I can't wait to try the ejuice macaron recipes to see if I can even get close to those bites of deliciousness I had the other day!

ID10-T has a couple of macaron recipes on ATF that I have mixed. For the base of the macaron @Letitia provided add 1% FLV Cream. I have subbed FA Cream Fresh however use FLV the most.

I got that in for Meg, not a coconut fan myself. What percentage did you use. She still prefers a higher flavor percentage than I do.
NM reread the post, I'll start her at 4 with the coconut rum I got in for her.

I mixed it at 4%. When I looked it up, trying to find a baseline to start at, the mixing percentages were all over the place from 4-12%. I think it's pretty strong at 4% and could not imagine what it's like at 12%. I gathered from reading that more coconut came out at higher percentages.

At the percentage I mixed at it's very well balanced, with even the rum notes peeking through.

I think Meg will enjoy it. The reviews for it are very favorable.

Could it use a pineapple boost?

For new recipes I usually mix 3 10ml testers. Our tastes are so dissimilar that I can't really develop them beforehand. I was going to mix one with the WF coconut rum and worried it might need a bit of INW pineapple as well with the added coconut and rum notes.

I am agreeing with this simply because I am in the same boat, not that I don't feel you're successful, you seem quite knowledgeable to me :)

I’m trying to learn as much as I can from Fran and others here.

I seem to have a chronic, mild case of vaper's tongue the last few months, I miss my palate and I don't understand what's causing it, I've tried rotating juices and that doesn't seem to help

I’m not sure where to buy them but I recall someone somewhere mentioned tongue cleaners.

@Heartsdelight — Did you ever try Gallagher’s with FLV Watermelon? If so, which did you like better — MB or FLV although I think I know the answer ;)
No I wanted to but I’ve been so busy. Just mixed with the MB Big Watermelon.

I did get a tip from one of the mixers on Chefsflavours FB. He has pinned flavor notes on Chefsflavours FB. It’s using FLV Watermelon with another watermelon. I can’t remember what it is right now. I’ll look it up & let you know tomorrow.
