It's my understanding nic solution will layer out so shaking prior to using is important. I'm assuming the same for flavorings. I also assume PG and VG are homogeneous but I don't know this to be true. I just shake it all. I don't like to assume. ??

I have a habit of shaking everything but the VG and PG.

I used to try new mixes with the small egoOne tanks because they are so easy to rewick. Since getting the Z tanks I have switched to testing most mixes with a Zlide with the .8 coil or the 1.6. These coils are amazingly good at switching flavors.

    Including the dog's paw too?
I usually just shake the nic once vigorously before decanting and once out of the freezer. Other than that I don't shake the nic. Haven't experienced a hotspot and suspect I don't need to shake after taking a bottle out of the freezer but seems to be a habit that is difficult to break.

Random mix day one has concluded. Three different recipes with 2 or three different ratios. I can tell one I don't like already. Western tobacco. Smells like hay. Been there, done that.

The Flue cured smells good. I don't know why I got only two tobaccos. That was stupid. Loaded my cart up with a bunch more. Should have started with only tobaccos until I found a couple I liked then gone from there. Live and learn. And there's a whole lot more to learn but eating an elephant starts with the first bite.

If you are buying Hangsen, try the Ry3.

This is interesting. You just rinse out the tank and find that the old flavor clears out after a few pulls?

I pull the coil and place it upside down on a napkin. Then I rinse the tank and set that on napkin to dry. I let it all sit for around ten minutes. Prime the coil with new flavor and reassembly the works. The new flavor is picked up immediately. Give it a try.
