Married and gone at 17. Unfortunately it wasen’t the last time I felt chills down my spine. Hubs and I found a closed Insane Asylum in WV years ago.

. It was a huge place and open to tour. I refused to go in. I was afraid of what I would see and or feel. I got a really bad feeling just looking at the barred windows.
Sounds like you have psychic sensitivities? Just when you were younger? If so did they just go away or are you still sensitive under certain situations/conditions?

I have an older lady friend who is psychic (she sees, feels and hears). She is retired now but was pretty well known and respected around here. She was also a psychologist. Smart as a whip. Great chess player too. Beat my .... several times but I sure learned a lot.

Rec'd my BCF order on Saturday. Made the yogurt recipe yesterday. How long did you steep yours for?

The psychic crap followed me into adulthood which is why I will go out of my way to stay away.

    Thanks.

With all this talk of fruit here today I decided on fruit, couscous and spirulina for dinner. Sliced fresh white and yellow peaches, nectarine, strawberries, banana, mango and some watermelon. A nice light meal for a warm and muggy day.

Didn’t you come up with some decent contest recipes?

I liked the raspberry malt but that was the only one. I used several RF flavors in my recipes but think I went too low on them. I never went back and worked on them. Now I have new flavors I haven’t put away that I could experiment with.

As long as we’ve been friends here I’ve never known you to really get into mixing your own. Now that you have a start I’m hoping you don’t give up.

I will say the most horrifying place I have ever been in was the Tucson State quiet room. I was to be d/c the next day and I needed to be sane enough to START seeing my kid. I was super antsy and I begged the nurse to put me in there so I could chill out. Like every request, with that nurse, you had to make it three times, the first couple she would sniff, and say, "You don't need it."

I was still having pretty bad synesthesia at the time where all your senses were jumbled and also INTENSE and the did not clean that much at State. I could smell every last person who had peed or pooped in there for at least a decade there was graffiti on the walls, you could see it glisten although it was pitch black and I'm sure some was in blood. I got to experience the collective insanity of all the past residents, thoughts, feelings, statements, actions. I was trembling all over and I was like, "Okay, I have to be unconscious" so I just lifted my hands to the heavens and said "ENTER ALL OF IT." I don't know how long I was in there, but like, when the nurse opened the door I was curled in a ball on the floor. She said "It's time for your 4 pm benzo you can come out now."

I moaned and said, "I don't think I need it." Then I went to my bedroom and lay not on the bed but underneath it. Of course, at the State Hospital such actions aren't really considered strange after the quiet room... surely the staff have to KNOW what is in there? Maybe not if you are in a sensitized state? In any case, they left me alone about it and I was discharged as planned.

And it was one of the best cigarettes I had ever smoked, amen. I also got my kid back and I SUPPOSE the cigarette came first only temporally not in importance. I am pretty sure. You gotta be locked in nut house for weeks to understand what a cigarette can MEAN. I am NOT saying I would not have picked my kid over that cigarette but luckily I did not have to make that choice.

It depends on if you like sweet vapes. First thing that comes to mind is (RF) French toast (that I love but don't add anything sweet... instead I add just a bit of cinnamon and maybe vanilla like real french toast) It does sound like the perfect pairing. Maybe you were going for a donut recipe? I'm really just guessing, but it must have been some sort of bakery recipe.
P.S. I hope it wasn't waffle... haven't tried any but heard they are all yucky.
thanks Vaper. I feel certain it was a dessert of some sort as that is what I covet. If anyone does have a recipe that is dessert and has this powdered sugar please PM me.
    And thanks all~

I bet I could probably count the amount of recipes I've written myself on less than two hands. I'm lazy when it comes to that. I don't have the best sense of taste and I see something that sounds good posted somewhere then I want to try it. It has helped me build my flavor arsenal. Maybe if I had more time to focus on it then I might do more.

The HVAC guy is coming today. I'll be at work but expect to feel a sharp pain in my checkbook between 12:00 and 2:00.

Just sent my boss "one of those" emails. RJ is putting her foot down. Tired of incompetent people that I have to work with. Tired of getting work dumped on me that is not mine to do. Tired of doing all the work and getting none of the glory (or pay). I worked well past 6 yesterday when my quit time is 4. Happy Happy Joy Joy. Wait until I get my retirement time in September. RJ will be speaking her mind more often.

Sorry, but I had to laugh at your last line. Not a funny thing but the way you put it is very funny
