Good morning :)

Anyone use ultrasonic cleaners for their vape stuff? Or just clean it the old fashioned way?

Old fashioned here as well. New tanks, dish soap and hot water to get any oils out, otherwise just hot running water.

Looks like we're in for a week of summer, again. Temps to be low 80s for a couple days.

Plan for the day is.... a book store!

Prohibition on importing e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine

Sent from my SM-T820 using Tapatalk

I did a quick read through on that site. So basically you could get nicotine if prescribed by a doctor. I wonder how many doctors are going to be willing to go through all the red tape to get a license and submit paperwork for each patient. I'm sure if it's coming from a doctor it's not going to be cheap. I have about nine liters of 100mg on hand right now and am considering getting one or two more before September comes with the deeming regulations. I have to wonder if it won't be delayed again though with the recent increase in Covid cases in the US.

Imo, it won't be delayed here, although enforcement may be spotty. Or not. Yeah, good time to have lots of nic on ice...

What confused me about Australia is

    "19 June 2020
The Australian Government has announced that they intend to ask the Governor-General in Council to amend the Customs (Prohibited Import) Regulations from 1 July 2020 prohibiting the importation of e-cigarettes containing vaporiser nicotine (nicotine in solution or in salt or base form) and nicotine-containing refills unless on prescription from a doctor.

If the Governor-General agrees to make the regulations, the following questions and answers provide further information for individuals, health professionals and importers who may be affected by the prohibition."

They intend to ask, and if he agrees? So is it really a done deal, and if so, can they possibly have it done in less than two weeks??

I guess it’s pretty much anybody’s guess at this point. I’m not going to worry about nic, I have enough.

I do have a couple good recipes with under 4% flavor. It’s not my usual thing, it just worked out that way. IMO it’s hard to keep good cheesecake recipes under 15%. I overall try for around 10% but it doesn’t always work out.

That is a lot of strawberry. If you switched them and did 10% cheesecake and 6% strawberry then it would probably be a snv recipe instead of needing to steep. I agree though with Fran about adding graham. I'd even go 3% on the graham.

Yes, a possible 3% on the graham is good but I don't go over 6% with my cheesecake. 5-6% is what I usually go with and then add the graham and cheese.

My long-lost FT order finally arrived today! It was a USA express epacket packet that was ordered in Mid-March, shipped March 31, cleared customs in Chicago on Saturday and was delivered today! I had begun to think it was a permanent goner! So happy to be wrong!

I've see it said that The Governor General's Office has said it is already signed, so a done deal.

@hittman where do I go to ask post related questions?

I'm not Hittman, but I can answer your question. If you have a question about a post find the post and hit the reply button in the lower right corner of the post in question. A new window will pop up and you can put your question there.
