Well today I was filling a tank with some blueberry. I knocked a pen off the desk and the dog grabbed it and ran off. He likes to chew up pens so I ran after him and retrieved it. My chair swung round and hit the keyboard tray and the bottle of juice fell on the seat. I got back and sat down on top of it. It's an old office chair with faux leather finish, a lot of the leather look skin has peeled off exposing the fabric backing so the juice sunk right in. Guess I need a new chair, now I just have a folded towel on it.

Apart from that my new juice management system is up and running. After a bunch of mixing I have backup 100ml bottles of most of my regular juices. When one runs out I move in the backup and remix the other one, so everything gets well steeped. And I've got 4 new flavors going. Not sure whether to retire some flavors or bring out more tanks.

@Shadav that so sucks. I'm really sorry. I have thyroid disease too and like have been on natural thyroid replacement forever. My thyroid is totally suppressed, but oddly my T4 is on the lower side. Lithium can kill your thyroid and since my mom and sis both have issues, I was expecting them. It's been stable an awesome for about 10 years. I have no symptoms of ANYTHING like, over thyroid. Synthroid just did not agree with me

My "new" PCP unfortunately the ex work one, well she was a NUT on how Synthroid was the only way, and like she had had thyroid cancer and stuff and so she "knew it all." I actually wish she had not disclosed this, as otherwise like every new PCP I tell them to go lecture themselves.

However, since the off patent synthroid did some study that the brand name was better AND ALL OTHER THYROID THINGS are bad, well, good luck finding a PCP not shoving it at you. She was all, "You are going to die your TSH is too low." I was like, "Nope, it doesn't even matter on natural thyroid as long as everything balances out." Anyway since I had never had "Brand name" label Synthroid like, she convinced me. My TSH went TOTALLY in the toilet like 0.001 or something and my T3 or T4 or whatever, I forget was super high. I had all these weird symptoms of like thyroid stuff and I kept emailing her and she would be like, "Wait until the lab work (8 weeks away) and I was like "NOOOO this is not cool." I got my lab work after asking about a jillion staff if it was kosher and they said it was fine and gave it to me.

In the process of firing my PCP like I asked to be bridged to my old medication and like, she filled the wrong medication and then when I emailed her very STERNLY and was like "look do I need to take this higher up the chain?" (I meant her SUPRERVISOR or something) she filed a HIPPA report alleging I had gotten my own labwork inapproriately. I have never receieved a HIPPA report and the woman in charge of those was evil. I was such a mess I lost 4 days of time and well, bad things happened.

The head of the program was DYING for me to file a report against her because then THEY control the process but I was like, "Nope, not gonna happen."

I have 1--4 years to file various complaints with various departments but I doubt I will be unless something very strange happens, in which case I would consider it. I downloaded all my emails and kept everything because some of it was so blatantly WRONG.

AS IS CONCRETE OMG I felt like Rapunzel, shoveling that creepy stuff and like I am not a good shoveler either. The first thing that happened was the Husband telling me to pick up an 80 lb bag and I was like, "Do I look like an ant to you?" He was like "Huh?" and then I said, "I am a 110 lb woman there is no WAY." But then there was the ritualizing opening of them, the shoveling them into the concrete mixer while the husband was doing what HE was doing to make a pad and I was like, "This is PURE HELL." The husband did so much way more than me but I suppose I was slightly helpful. He gave me a shovel and the first thing I said after trying to get concrete into the mixer was, "Do you have something smaller?" I mean a spade would have been awesome but I had a shovel small enough that I could barely control its movement and we, together, made the pad.

Then I came in to like wash the lights and my husband was like "how can you be doing that?" I was like, "IDK maybe I don't overdo things. But I am tired now. Lunch at 1 pm and then I am putting the new toilet seat on because the husband will wait until Tuesday afternoon he is such a procrastinator.

Man though, more concrete to come tomorrow. Color me not impressed. I just picked up a soda bottle and it HURT. Not cool.

Anna

I have been 110 lbs since 12 and yes, concrete sucks.

 I barely weighed 100lbs when pregnant with my first child
I was hyperactive (extremely so, like no joke they used me to rewrite the textbooks about hyperthyroidism/graves' disease) ... I was so over the top it wasn't funny.... just sitting still and my heart rate was 190 bpm....by age 20 I'd already had 4 or 5 heart attacks and 3 or 4 strokes due to my thyroid.....medication did not (and still does not) work on me, it'd level me out for maybe a week and then stop working....i'd have my blood drawn every week or two and adjust meds.....by 21 I had my thyroid radiated by 23 the weight started piling on and wouldn't stop....I refused to weigh myself but I know I was around 500 - 600 lbs....I was in size 38 clothes and refused to buy bigger.....the doctor said when the radiated there was a chance it'd become active again between 30 - 45, yeah that doesn't seem to be happening....at the time it was unheard of that anyone under 30 had thyroid problems and even still not at the level that I had....it's funny that such a small thing can do so much....mine decided to mostly attack my adrenal gland....I was like 14 when they diagnosed me (woke up one morning and my throat was the size of a softball) but had had it since who knows when and no one caught it because no one thought to.....everytime I went in for a check up they'd always ask if they could bring in some grad students....ug....I signed so many forms to allow them to examine me and then one doctor to be able to use me to help rewrite what they knew about Graves' Disease....because ya know, the overachiever that I am having it at an unheard of age and overthetop textbook case symptoms and then some that they hadn't heard of....and so many doctors stating that how no one caught it until my neck became a balloon, the symptoms were all there but because of my age no one looked and passed off symptoms as something else.....not to say those something else's weren't happening too but the bigger picture of all the little symptoms would have pointed to thyroid issue if I had been 30 and not a kid/teen.... even after my doctor figured out it was my thyroid, no one would take me as a patient because either they didn't believe it because that's an adult disease (since when did diseases care what age you are) or because they just didn't deal with kids/teens.... I had one of those old time country doctors and I think he was more ...... than I was that these so called specialist idiots refused me as a patient solely on my age, even though this was their field of study!!! Riley's children's hospital was the only one that accepted me, even though I was technically to old for them, and they ended up bringing a specialist in after showing him all of my results and he decided to take me on as a case study and bring in interns and med students to study me....
 you know that saying, you have reflexes like a cat  one part of my symptoms was (well with everything that is) hyperactive reflexes....you could just barely tap my knee and my leg would kick out at 100mph.... I would always warn the underlings but this one "macho" guy was all yeah ok.....so sure enough he stood right in front of me and tested my reflexes.....he got a swift kick to the crotch for his pigheadedness..... the doctor that took me on learned his lesson the first time....he tested my elbow and got smacked in the face  so when he did my knees he stood way off to the side
I still remember the lab tech....since I had to have my blood drawn every week or two, I tended to see the same people and there was this one guy that was really good....as this was a children's hospital they're used to dealing with kids (ok I was a teen but still).... he helped me to get used to having my blood drawn, he taught me how to relax one arm and clench the other and at first it was turn your head away and don't look....to stare at that dot on the wall....to you should watch the blood flow into the tube it's really neat....to one day not telling me he was taking the needle out....so now I can pretty much stand everything except for watching them ..... me. uggg I had one old lady that had the shakes and man....I was about to knock her out...I'm like please just let me hold the needle because you're moving it around and it hurts.....really I can do it, it's not a problem....she went and got the doctor because I was being belligerent....no i'm not, look at her hands, she's shaky and keeps moving the needle, she's stuck me 5 times and can't keep it steady to draw blood, so I offered to hold it steady because it hurts....no you can't hold it because you might cause damage.....more than her shaky hands??? they finally used one in the back of my hand so they could tape it down, ug man I hate the back of my hands those hurt regardless

so yeah anyways... now i'm on 125mcg levothyroxine and not happy....my former doctor had me at 175 and even that wasn't enough but my current doctor said it was too high and knocked it down, I tried explaining but ya know, the labs shows you're levels are dangerously low (i forget which is which) so we need to lower your dose, just try it and see how you do..... :nah:
:pervy: since my higher dose was from another doctor I refill it every now and then and alternate the two :pervy:
I also bought some L-Tyrosine pills, I take about 12 different vitamin supplements trying to counteract my thyroid symptoms and lack of energy...but as with everything, the way my body process stuff, it just doesn't really work....I used to think that things didn't work on me because my thyroid was so extremely active, my metabolism was off the charts.....but now....I donno....maybe it's the reverse, things don't work because I have no metabolism now..... who knows.....but medications have never worked for me, maybe for a few days and then they stop.....painkillers have little to no effect at all..... with my first child I had, I don't even know how many epidurals, at least 7 and then the doctor said that they could not give me anymore...they ended up giving me something to make me loopy so I wouldn't care that I was in pain...and then after giving birth I got up and walked to the bathroom while the nurse started dumbly because I wasn't supposed to even be able to feel my lower body at all.....apparently she didn't believe me that it wasn't working but after seeing me walk she shut her mouth....with my second child I explained to the doctor and they put me on a spinal iv tap of epidural but even that didn't work....

Shad, my daughter has thyroid issues also and her adrenal glands don't work. Therefore she is on steroids (to mimic the adrenals) for life and has to carry an emergency kit with her containing a needle and bottle of liquid steroid.

    Afternoon Mixers!

Yep, we may just have to eat the loss but we will contact them and see. Maybe we can get a credit or something.
Make sure you make reference to a lawyer. That generally works.

Cold steel chisel and 5 lb club hammer did the trick. Was satisfying and not all that hard to break off big chunks. Some parts were 6+ in thick, some a foot thick. The last piece I broke off was a 200+ lb chunk and I exclaimed to no one in particular, "Boom shakalaka". Probably was a 2 ft by 6 ft by 6-12 inch slab of concrete in total. No need for jack hammers, swinging 20 lb sledges, Amish, or Jehovahs. All that said, I'm glad that's over with and I hope to never do that again.

My intimidation tactics worked, and I have mixed 25mls each of seven recipes and 12mls each of five more. I did resort to a little trickery, though: instead of deciding on a specific number of recipes and pulling all the necessary flavors before mixing, as I usually do, I pulled the flavors for one recipe at a time and mixed it before pulling/mixing the next. This let me know I didn't have to mix everything I was thinking of mixing, which made me do more than I thought I could stand doing.

I used to play these kinds of tricks on myself all the time when I was a free lancer.

That's a lot of mixing! I am impressed!! I pull the flavorings one recipe at a time too. It's just too confusing for me the other way and I am afraid I'd have trouble finding the flavorings if they aren't in their usual spots in the cases.

    Hi all...
Thought I'd share my ADV that I've been tweaking over the past year or so:

I shake & vape this, but I expect it might benefit from some steeping for those who have the patience. :D

    Perfect with coffee/cola.

I did buy some FA Cookie with my order. And some TFA Banana Nut Bread. I don't know if cheesecake is considered a base, but I also purchased TFA Cheesecake.
Cookie is strong (go easy on it) BNB is supposed to be great on it's own so do a SFT. Cheesecake is great with many fruits but I like berries so try jungle fruit (sorry but cheesecake really needs a long steep... try it anyway but it does get much better with time)
