Turns out the Kia dealership in Corpus are a bunch of thieving liars. Among many things, they had written in their report my front and rear pads were both at 10%.. I'm surprised they didnt insist they replace them all. There is TONS of life left in my front pads I got cheap off of rockauto. The rear pads that were dangling on a thread of life that I replaced were very expensive "premium" pads from NAPA. Never again, can't trust anyone or hardly any product anymore. Not a whole lot I can do about it, except learn more skills to do my own repairs/maintenance. /end rant
I've had great luck with RockAuto, I've easily spent $1500 in parts over the past few years and never got a bad item. I do hate the whole A/B/C/D warehouse shipping debacle but what you save in parts prices is worth the extra shipping costs.

Unless your car has over 120,000 miles, you tow things, or you live in the hills I can't understand the rear pads being worn out since they do so little work compared to the front.

I know. I was very excited to get all the new WF flavors at one time and got six out of the 22 in the usps shipment and now Fedex won't deliver. I'm almost positive at this point that they have lost the package.

Oh Hitt. That transaction is cursed. I'm so sorry. What a pain.

RockAuto is awesome! My Dad turned me on to it and I've used it for small things that I can do myself for the SUV I traded in eventually. It had something to do with the heater. And I managed to fix it! YouTube is awesome for me.

A little story on FedEx. They suck! I bought a cell phone once that had free overnight shipping that took 8 days to receive. I was upset!

FedEx delivered my daughter's prom dress to the wrong address. She was absolutely devastated, we kept calling FedEx, they were insisting that the package had been delivered. It was a nightmare. Luckily our neighbors had the presence of mind to notice that the package thrown on their front porch was not addressed to them--and they brought it to our house.

I've been using my solo exclusively for months with the Zeus X. I think I bought every color of the solo. :thumb:

Aren't they just the greatest? I love the ergonomics--they just fit my hand like a glove. The most comfortable mod I've ever owned. And simple to use, and does TC well. What's not to like?

Hmm... maybe I should get two? :D

I had only discovered rockauto last year after I had bought those rear pads from napa. I wish I would have discovered them sooner. I don't understand it either, I think I'd notice if the rear brakes were rubbing or locked up while I was driving. I confirmed that the front calipers were indeed operational. Definitely don't tow anything, but the car is getting up there in miles 94k. Maybe just bad pads for too much money. Idk. All I know is that I'm going to stick with rockauto in the future as much as I can.

I have one and like it. And I have 2 more on the way. I think I like the Colossal or Swag 2 more by just a little. But I really like the Solos for the durability factor.
