Now I have a Strawberry Kiwi pudding that's pretty good but a bit on the sweet side.
Fingers crossed. If this works you really should get a portable ac unit for any further problems.
I have 2. They work fine. I am using one ATM.Hey, if it still works fine, why not use it?
I thought it was just you and your wife? Get 2 of them, they roll. The problem with that is we have 2 separate living rooms and 2 bedrooms we'd have to cool.

That sounds like it might be up my alley. Especially with it being Strawberry-Kiwi flavored. Now I have a Strawberry Kiwi pudding that's pretty good but a bit on the sweet side.
If both bd's are needed and are close together, one will cool it to bearable. I only use one for the entire upstairs and one for downstairs. Also, if nothing else, have everyone stay in one area temporarily. The problem with that is we have 2 separate living rooms and 2 bedrooms we'd have to cool.
On the list of things I don’t want to be without, tp ranks pretty high. Coffee probably tops the list (for world safety lol). It’s the random items that make me go hmmmm... like not being able to find cream of chicken soup for several weeks, or raisins.I thought tp was pretty odd.
Wouldn't staying in one or two rooms be preferable to all in one hotel room?It is just us 2, with separate rooms for everything LOL.
They must be pretty good if they are still popular after all these years.I don't use mine anymore, but it's in my stash. It's a very nice and extremely versatile tank. It was my favorite tank for a long time.
I'm hoping that I'll like the coils I bought and can keep them as a solid back up.

If it's not in Zazies blog already I will find my recipe. That sounds like it might be up my alley. Especially with it being Strawberry-Kiwi flavored.
That’s why we got a window unit for the bedroom. We can leave the ac higher in the rest of the house, close the bedroom door at night and crank the window unit down to subzero. I was surprised at how quiet the new units are, and how much $$ we saved on the electric bill!I'm thinking about getting a couple of those. We have a big house that's rather difficult and expensive to keep cool (high ceilings), and just the two of us. OTH, we get sea breezes most of the time and don't use AC all that often--only when we get heat waves like now.
Hello, Mixers! Hope everyone is doing well.
Haven't read back, sorry--I can't keep up with your thread, Frannie.![]()

I would have suggested window units but I don't think DL or his wife could lift them into window . They seem to have no help. That’s why we got a window unit for the bedroom. The old Kanger Mini Subtank. The original coils were the OCC.(square). Those are what I have plus the RBA's.Are those the Kanger tanks that came with the subtank kit, had occ coils?
