Same thing happened to me also except my reaction was not as severe as yours. In order not to waste my remaining Nic I would add just a small amt to a reg mix. Eventually it got used. I think these companies just overload the salt to ensure max absorption. Never shake that nic right before mixing. When I got to the bottom of my bottle I swear there was at least 1 inch of unabsorbed salt just sitting on the bottom. Never bought nic salt again.
Thanks for sharing. I thought it was just me. I'm passing on using again. I have plenty of regular nic. My throat is healing. No further bleeding.

    GOOD Morning Mixers!
Getting ready to take my SIL to Mesquite. Not much in Mesquite but he had to go to the Ford dealer there to get key fobs made for the Explorer he picked up (the person who had it was arrested in Mesquite, good riddance). Those things are expensive! In Vegas they wanted $750 for 2 of them and in Mesquite they are $450. I had no idea.

Yes, that is why I got it. I've also branched out with some other chezzy recipes. I never did an sft on the Brie or Mascarpone and I'm not sure what processed me to do an sft on this one.
    Temporary insanity is my guess.

If you added a little fruit to it to make it more palatable, would you still be able to get enough of a sense of it?

The other day I mixed up some e liquid. I used some salt nic. Bad idea. I tried it before but only a few puffs. I brought a tank of it to work Monday night I found out I'm allergic/bad response to salt nic. I have taken two days off from work. N/V (nausea/vomiting) in addition to ripping up my throat. I was expectorating blood. Lesson learned. Work sucks but it sucks more now than ever. I was trying to increase my nic level. It must be a chemical in the salt nic that dries out the throat
Oh my how horrible! I just researched salt nic and the article said some people do have reactions to the benzoic acid in the salt nic. I bought 120 ml from Heartland and I saw no difference from regular nic. I vaped all of it without incident. I just wanted to try it out. Take care!

I am going to try the Shortbread Biscuit sft first and then add some Cottage Cheese to that. That's the plan anyway.

    Somewhere between here and there
    Why didn't you like them?

It's been quite a while but I tried some unflavored and some premade from a vendor. I thought there was something off in the taste and had no need for 50mg salts. I know I could delete them. The stuff I got had no throat hit and I prefer one.

I did know and have been running mine in boost with the .5 coil. I could hardly tell the difference between 9 and 10 watts with the 1.2 coil. I would have liked to see something like 9 and 13 for the low settings.

Really glad to know one of my FYI's was actually informative . . . Hopefully, useful too . . . :D

Yes - Maybe even as high as 14 watts (which Endura's are set at and I use all the time) would have been nice . . . However, I havethe Sceptre set at 9 right now and am still enjoying the vape . . .

This is a copy/paste what I found out about benzoic acid. Crapola I should of researched this.

Benzoic acid is what’s known as a volatile organic compound (VOC) and has some serious side effects. This VOC is not intended to be inhaled, yet it is the primary ingredient for making nicotine salts easier to inhale. Some of the dangers of this chemical include:

    • Eye damage
    • Skin irritation causing, rash, redness, and/or burning
    • Irritation to the nose, throat, and lungs
    • Coughing
    • Wheezing
    • Shortness of breath
Furthermore, benzene is a derivative of benzoic acid, and is a VOC known to cause:

    • Headaches
    • Dizziness
    • Tremors
    • Convulsions
    • Confusion
    • Cancer
    • Death

Ah. I'm the opposite: I want no throat hit, so the bulk of my stash is salts. I sure am grateful I have no problems with them, since I stocked up having never tried salts before.

Guess I'm doomed. Oh well. I was anyway.
