okay I'm going to break this all the way down No I have patience the scale is doing what it needs to do but it is not reading down low enough. I'm new to mixing I don't want to start out doing a 20 ml bottle just to test a flavor. What I've been trying to make is about 10 mL bottles so the weight is very light. I do have syringes and I am aware that I can also do it in drops but I had rather weigh it instead. Also if something calls for 0.4 ml I'm sorry but I am new to this and I do not know how many drops that cost 4 I'm sure I could Google it but when I have scales there that's what they're for . I'm not being a smart alec . I just want the skills to do what they're supposed to do . My problem is that it is not reading like for instance 0.03 or 0.0 5 I'm sorry but when it gets to a 0.0 5 it should detect on the scale in my opinion. I can sit and wait that's fine I understand when putting drops into a bottle I have to be patient and give it a few seconds in between for it to pick up what has been put in there but it is just too light and for some reason the scales I have or not reading it. I'm sorry but I have watched numerous videos where other people's scales read exactly what I'm trying to get mine to do. That's why I got on here and ask the question I did.I have tried putting a nickel on the scales works fine. The one that my girlfriend got me yesterday she got it in the food section and it is like not a flat scale and I think that is playing a big part on the new scale. The other set of scales I have just a little set of scales that I have from a long time ago and it will read better than the other . I know when it comes to really low percents but I just want a good one that is accurate and I don't have to worry about using a syringe or drops or anything like that. I know that it has to be on a flat surface I know that I need to give it time to read I am new to this but I do understand what I need to be doing. II had a tiny measuring cup on the scale yesterday and it's a good thing that I was actually paying attention to what it red on the side because if I did not know better I could easily have overdosed myself on nicotine. The scale said one thing well I looked it's something else and it completely said something different in milliliters I don't want to ever have to feel not safe due to scales. I put a nickel on their it read it fine I put a penny on their it also read it correctly. But when it comes down to very low milliliters or percentages it's not wanting to read it. And I know that there are scales that read that low I have watched videos where people use those skills and I watch the numbers as they're putting the drops in I don't want to pay hundreds of dollars and I'm not going to. From what I have read and from what I have saw I should only have to spend around 20 to $25 for a good set. I just don't ever want to have to question if I'm going to be okay with what is in my bottle if it did not have the milliliters on the side. Do you understand what I'm saying? thank you for your infoWhat size of mix are you trying to do? It sounds like the scale is doing what it is suppose to. You just need patience. All scales take a few seconds before weighing in. Unless you want the professional scales labs use you will pay hundreds if not thousands of dollars. You could always try syringes or drops you count for such small batches.
It's cool in kentucky today also. Very nice but light rain.Good morning everyone.
We had a cool front roll in last night and it is gorgeous outside. It's not suppose to get higher than 66 degrees today and down in the 40's tonight. I use to love when Florida had temps like this...

Someone has probably already said this, but your big scale looks like the one here to me, and, if it is, I'm sorry to tell you it only measures down to a gram. You need a scale that goes down to 100ths of a gram, like this one.Ok I'm need some advice. I finally sat down to make something I'm doing it in small bottles or amounts 10 to 15 ml. Well I have a small scale when I put 5 to 10 drops of water in my bottle the scale won't read it. Then I can weight a min and add like 5 more drops and it has shot up. So I went and got a new bigger scale where after the . It will look like 0.00 instead of 0.0 on my first scale. But I can't get it to pick up very small amounts done things only require 10 drops or so. So can someone plz tell me what I'm doing wrong? I have been using water to test cuz I don't want to waste my flavors and stuff. At first I was like well maybe the water is to light. But that can't be it. I wish I had taken pictures of them before I wrote all this to show you all but hopefully I can still put them in here so you can see what I'm using. Cuz now I'm just ...... I've spent even more money now and still nothing smhany info would be do appreciated. I actually have been if the phone finding recipes got everything together just frustrated. Dose the water not weigh enough? Thank you all in advance
The one that goes to 0.00g should work. They both go up to 500 and the scale I got today has 0.00g my other one was like 0.0
My girlfriend ran to Walmart yesterday and got me those skills we didn't know that it was not the correct kind of scales. She was trying to be helpful she saw me frustrated and wanting to mix and she offered to run to the store and get me a new scale I was all for It. And the new scale it's almost like it's like a bowl almost and there is one little piece that told in it in the middle when I looked underneath I think it needs to be completely flat. I think you may be right they may be defective or they are not made really to read diet low of amount of milliliters. Because I know I put two big bottles of 500ml juice on there yesterday well not juice I put a bottle of Fiji 500ml a bottle of PG 500ml and another bottle of something and it weighed it out perfect. I just don't want to take a chance and be weighing something and it not be correct like yesterday me being new to mixing I'm glad what I was using actually had the measurements on the side or I could have easily overdosed myself on nicotine. I shouldn't have to use a syringe or count drops and I am making small batches. But that's what the scales are supposed to do right? Thank you for your info I greatly appreciate it I'm out today and getting me a new set of scales my phone is going to die it's at 1% thanks you all be back on in a little bitTo be honest it sounds like your new scales are either defective, or they exaggerated how accurate they are. I don't see how you could be doing anything wrong that would cause that. I suspect anything you get in the kitchen section at the store is unlikely to do what you need.
Did you see the post listing scales from Amazon? I got the American Weigh Scales one, LB-501. A lot of people here use those. They would definitely do what you need.

I remember a trip to Florida my father told me about a few years ago. He went down there (he lives in Southern Maryland) to work on a boat of one of his clients. It was morning in the mid 60's and he was strolling down the dock in shorts and a t-shirt. Some other boaters were around wearing coats and hats. They looked at him like he was a crazy man..We had a cool front roll in last night and it is gorgeous outside. It's not suppose to get higher than 66 degrees today and down in the 40's tonight. No every year is a big deal! 10 is just a bigger dealI missed my 6 year quitting anniversary last week. 5 years was a big deal. I guess after that it's like birthdays after 60, oh well, there goes another one. If I make it to 10 years that one will be another celebration.

I only wrote to them yesterday. They replied quickly when I wrote before to ask if I could add something to my order, so I expect I'll hear back from them soon. If I don't, I'll call.Have you tried calling them? I've spoken to a woman there several times and she's pretty nice...
