What no one likes Nelson Eddy & Jeanette Macdonald, or the Andrew Sisters, or Ella Fitzgerald, or Judy Garland, or Barbra Streisand . . .

.

I do enjoy all but the last, though they are up to 40 years before my time. I'm not a Streisand fan, though she was definitely a performer. I grew up watching and listening to a lot of classic stuff, love Danny Kaye movies.

I had a friend that was an "audiophile" (taught me how to build speakers and crossovers) he had a very expensive turntable (yes, that's a record player to you younger people) a home-made pre-amp and and a home-made amp (both tubes) and pro JBL home-made speakers (some serious stuff) Anyway, we had this collection of albums to test the speakers with... including the soundtrack from "2001 A space oddesey", Ted Nugent (that was my addition to really push the speakers hard) Michael Jackson Thriller (good base and overall killer song to test speakers) and guess what... Barbra Steistand for vocals. His speakers were "floor standers" ... 15 inch woofers (pro JBL) 8 inch mid-bass, PA midranges, Bullet tweeters (he called them woofers, barkers, squackers and tweeters) Only 70 watts per channel... best stereo I ever heard. Why did I waste your time will this long story... Barbra Steistand for the vocals test ;)

I was about 7 years old when I watched The Wizard of Oz for the first time, thus forming a very large crush on Dorothy. Then my mother explained to me that she was dead. Luckily, Lindsay Wagner came along a week later and swept me off my feet. We've been happily married ever since.

I saw Zombie on tour with Korn years ago, he had just put out Dragula. Great show.

How great was Korn live? I really like them but haven’t seen them in concert.

No but very soon (I actually have a few extra bucks to play with... not much but Acai is still first on my list ;) )
Last I knew you made $400 on a boat and you were going to make a good flavor order.

That show was amazing. Both Korn and Zombie sounded Perfect, and frankly, Korn was the bigger draw for me musically. Zombie had a great stage show though with big gas jet fireballs and a giant robot (and zombie go-go dancers). Very impressive.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
My only mixing plan this weekend is to pick a flavor to add to a bottle of cheesecake. I've already done apple snacks cereal cheesecake and lemon meringue tart cheesecake. May do a strawberry this time.

@stols001 , every day is jeans day for me. I wear the working man's uniform of t-shirt and jeans.
Unfortunately for me I have to go in to work today, which is normally a day off for me, for a special training session. Have to be there at 10am to noon, and my normal hours are 2:30 PM to 11pm (reduced to 32 hours a week for slow business during these Covid times). I've had a total of 2 hours sleep, but feel pretty good about it. Won't be a challenging session.

I always have a cheesecake going. It looks like I can vape lemon again so maybe I’ll do a lemon cheesecake.

I don't do many lemon flavors, really just that Lemon Meringue Tart and Capella Lemon Lime.
The LMT was a nice combination with the cheesecake, I used it at about 4%. Added a light lemon Trix kind of flavor.
