I thought of the perfect job for her. Handling and hand washing C19 infested bed sheets while wearing no PPE. j/k maybe ;)

If it would have been me standing next to her I would have acted like the piece of tooth went into my eye...

My problem is if I spend that much for a mod then I’d be afraid to use it.
I've never really had much of a desire to own any expensive mods. I don't care anything about chipset, DNA, and all that stuff. I suppose if I was interested in TC vaping, then I might be more interested in the higher end stuff.

So I looked at the flavors my buddy sent me. Two I was very happy to see are TFA Banana nut bread and (brand unknown) Cinnamon danish swirl. Smelled the FLV Rich cinnamon... you guys weren't kidding, that stuff is strong! An odd one was Molasses (which I love IRL... might try a bit with my french toast?) Some AP (I do lots of bakery stuff so that will come in handy) Anyway... thanks to my friend I have a few more flavors to play with (he's here on ECF but I'm old school so won't say)
Oh, almost forgot... HS RY4 (too bad I already made my tobacco mix... that would have fit right in) Also, I think one said Avacado? Just smelled like butter but who knows.

Most I have paid for a mod is $140 for the SL Class, which is the low end for expensive mods of course. I do use it basically all day every day though, carry it to work where it stays in a locker, in and out of back pocket all the time. It's holding up extremely well after over a year of use, very little wear on the black plastic? (what is that made of, the part of tube with design, what do you call it?), no wear on the metal, battery cap started smooth and still is. Screen, joystick, fire button, 510 all still basically like new with a tiny bit of dust and grime.

I’ve got a few of the Jac dna75 mods and like them. I really like the small size of them and they aren’t as expensive as a lot of other dna mods. Besides that, they are easy to take apart and repair if ever needed.

i find that one personally hideous, thank god for choices and styles :). I use all my mods anywhere and everywhere, and I've got a couple custom/higher end ones. To me, at the end of the say they're just nicotine delivery devices.

American made board with American (board) warranty is the biggest plus for those DNAs. In normal times you can open a trouble ticket and have your mod fixed and back in your hands within a week. :D

I did not know that. That is a nice feature, especially if you are spending a good amount of money on the mod.

I wasn't saying that I liked the looks of it but just thought that it looked like an expensive mod especially with that case it was in. I keep an extra dna75 board on hand in case one of my Jac mods has a problem with the main board but haven't yet. I can open it up for repair in just a couple minutes. I had one where the cable for the display was getting pinched and they sent me a new display for free. It was super easy to replace.

The only mod that has ever "died" on me is my mvp 2, and I think that was entirely my fault. The 510 connection broke from over tightening my tank. Even with the internal battery, if I hadn't done that or even taken the time and effort to fix it, I think it would still be working. My 'cheap-o' solos are going strong, despite the rigors, stresses, and abuse I throw their way. I think they will last for quite some time.

    Good morning :)
It's a winter wonderland around here, not sure how much work we can accomplish outside today, at work or at home.. but there is plenty to do around in my house, and then there is the desk project. I have 1 leg built so far, 7 more to go. The rest of the legs should be very easy. I hadn't done this exact thing before so I was kind of fumbling in the dark, but it turned out just fine.. I dialed in my table saw for miter cuts for the 28" 2x4 legs. I use my miter saw for cutting the 2x4s to size/length. Opposite world I guess, but my miter saw doesn't extend.

Guaranteed! Yet many of the super expensive mods come in bubble wrap and a cardboard box.:D
Not counting my old 20w sticks I haven’t had any of my cheaper pv’s die.
My wife has had an OG Pico 75 i guess now going on 4 years and it looks and works as good as the first day she got it. :thumb:

Morning, mixers. More rain. Maybe we'll go to town.

Only "low end" mods here. While many are capable of TC, well, I'm a watt vaper ;) Only ever had one go south, a failed switch on an RX 75. So, some possible spare parts for the other one ;) Cloupor Minis still going strong, probably my oldest mods.

All my mods, except squid double barrels, have TC.. but like you I'm a wattage, and low at that, vaper for life. My mvp 2 would still be useful to me. It went up to a whopping 20 watts(!), and that's still almost double than what I use. The most expensive mods I own are the most simple, wattage only.

Yeah, generally 8.5 watts :) Early on, before I moved to removable battery mods, I did have a few batteries fail. Not unexpected, but I got tired of buying paperweights. And, of course, they were all tubular, so not even good for that ;) (Well, other than a first release MVP, definitely a good paperweight!)

I’ll join the wattage vaper club. Bout never go over 10 watts and that’s just the mesh tank. Some of my mods do tc but I have no interest.

I just about forgot my old tube mods when I lost interest in them. They’re all stuffed in a drawer and all worked at the time.

    Good morning folks.

I have a few high end mods, DNA etc. They vape... DNAs are nice, but I don't use them how they are mainly intended. The boost functions are nice to have but I don't really use that either because I prefer them without. Nichrome coils really don't need it anyways.

I do notice a difference in chipsets though. And my favorite chipset is in a very affordable mod, the Vaporesso Gen with the axon chip. I think it gives a superior, quick firing rate to some of my other mods. The Tesla's chip are pretty nice too.
