Good morning random folks Have you any plans today?

I have been to the “Outside” this morning, aka grocery shopping. I can’t tell if people are stocking up for the visitors they’re not supposed to have, or for the pandemic. Apparently liquor and toilet paper is needed in copious amounts for either event . Veggie area was nice and empty
I started putting together some recipes last night using MF jasmine, and MF rose. I have a few recipes off FB DIYOD page I want to try too.

That's a great idea. I've so far been too lazy to make such folders.

I may fully assimilate into the computer age. I print them out and make notes on the paper recipes. Fails are marked and put alphabetically in the back of the binder. I need to make a list of those so I don’t remix them.

I am super excited... I have prepared thoroughly, losing 15 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Down to 190 and will probably gain it all back next week.

I can pretty much tell a fail by eye. Not 100% but damn close. But since I write my own I still mix iffy ones sometimes.

You know it! A shot for me, a shot for the pie, and then another shot for me.... all at about 9 in the AM. Just as the pie is starting to solidify, getting caramelized on top, I take about a half shot of Kentucky bourbon mixed with brown sugar and drizzle on top. I also make home made whip cream for it.

Step 3: Keep drinking the bourbon and totally forget about making the pie.

I had to call in sick today. The only responsible thing to do. I went back to sleep. I do feel weird. Hot and cold flashes, lung pain and sore throat. It could be (the place I work at) keeps the heat at 80 degrees. Top that with wearing a mask. I'm thinking this is more mask induced than anything else. Dehydration from dryness and breathing your own breath for hours is not ideal. Hopefully, its not covid. I don't trust the tests 100% though. I suppose I'll see the results soon-ish.

IMO that is too hot and doubly so with a mask. Can’t be good for you at all. Still hoping for a negative test.

Oh man, I hope you are okay (covid free). I'm guessing due to your line of work you have already taken the yearly flu shot.

I've been really digging Kind E-Juice "Reverence" - it's got a honeydew melon and cucumber taste. Searching the databases, nothing for a melon/cucumber DIY comes up. Would anyone be willing to share their ideas? I checked TFA and found melon options, but cucumber not so much. I usually mix 100% VG or 5%/95% due to PG migraines.

Search for "cucumber" in my blog. There are quite a few recipes there that include it, some involving melon.
