My son got this really expensive BBQ (two part... pellet smoker and propane grill with griddle) Also, he got a really good electric generator (gasoline and propane) Has two propane tanks too... if the power goes out (here in CA the electric company keeps posting warnings on the TV about this) he has it made! He can cook and run his fridge and small freezer (and TV with broadcast TV antenna)... smart boy (actually he is 38) I thought he was crazy to spend that much money, but I have to admit, if TSHTF he is set.

That post the other day asking about recipes for melon and cucumber intrigued me so I ordered various melon flavors and some FA Cucumber. Gotta try it!

I've got a couple of melons, which I like. So, let us know how you make out with the cuke. I may have to get some depending on how you like them mixed.

Me too (with names) have a peanut butter banana pudding with vanilla wafers... trying to come up with a shorter catchy name... hard to condense that into a short/catchy name... "nutty nilla wafer pudding"... still sounds stupid.

I have Cap Cucumber which is a good cucumber IMO but I’ve never been successful with a cuke melon mix.

I finally, after much procrastination, cleaned and rewicked 2 doggies yesterday. I've had the time to do it for a while, but other matters have taken priority. Filled them up with blueberry milkshake, and a kiwi cheesecake.

Kiwi Cheesecake? That is a combo I don't think I've ever heard off. But now I want to try it.

I just made up a recipe, it turned out pretty decent but needs time to steep otherwise the kiwi is too "perfumey"
Kiwi cheesecake
- cheesecake (Graham crust) tfa - 3%
- kiwi fa - 4%
- meringue fa - 2%
- Graham cracker v2 cap - 2%
- lemon meringue tart vt - 1%

Could definitely be tweaked for betterment/perfection

Great. I have FA Kiwi. I also have a 120ml of cheesecake base that has steeped for almost a month. I think I might try adding some of that Kiwi to 10ml of the base. Thanks for the idea of Kiwi in cheesecake.

Next time I mix i think I would try the obvious fruit pairing with strawberry and maybe raspberry. That's a good idea of going with just a 10ml sample. I tried this kiwi cheesecake too soon a long time ago, and it wasn't good (perfumey), and it got shelved and forgotten. It's much better now. The kiwi could maybe even be dropped to 3%

I also have some cheesecake base almost ready to use. So from what bark said, do you plan on steeping the mix with the kiwi in? I'll have to look to see if I have the FA kiwi.
