Work went okay. I was "demanded to a meeting" but the union rep I knew was out, and the one who wasn't seemed, ah, frantic. She was like, 'Tell them not today."
So head of SW (ooh I collected so many misconduct stories here, like, IDK even KNOW where to start) who I was told lies like a snake, kept sending me emails I kept deflecting.
Finally, she sent me one about "when you hung up on the infection control nurse we had to...."
That kinda got my blood boiling. I wrote back saying, pretty much:
You think I HUNG UP on the infectious disease speicalist? Could you please provide proof of that statement inclucding the infectious disease specialist, at the meeting when it is scheduled? I told the IDS ALL I KNEW in great detail and asked her if she needed ANYTHING else before we said goodbye. Is this another miscommunication? Because I am growing weary of them and if I "hung up" on the nurse, well, people get disconnected all the time, so I would imagine her first step would be to call back immediately, and then she would have had ANY opportunity to contact me at ANY time moving forward I made that very clear. Look, I am an ADA and union protected employee as you are aware. I really request that any more emails containing such miscommunications be stopped. .I can't deal with this type of email and my rep is not available to me. I am here to WORK. I will be happy to contact the infectious nurse specialist to determine why she believes I HUNG UP on her because it simply did not happen.
Then I got an email, "Can I come explain what you need to know about blah blah blah.
I was like, "Certainly if it is future focused and information I need to know now."
OF course it wasn't she just had been caught out in an outrageous lie, and needed to lightly admit her error, "could have been the nurse, or me I get things confused too sometimes."
I gotta document and send an email back but holy crud, when an outrageous mess. IDK what I am gonna do about my two month eval that is 4 months late, but my supervisor and I are gonna be having the DV conversation.
I think I will wait for the union rep I like. Sigh.

I am trying to empty a couple of my tanks too. I’ve been mixing up a storm over the past few days with something like 12 new-to-me juices!
Some are still steeping but I love your mango yogurt, Fran, and I love the Rusty Pelican from Zazie’s blog too.

Of these some are still steeping and some I won’t try til I empty and clean some tanks. None of these recipes are mine, of course. As I try them and decide if they are good enough for Zazie’s blog I will post them.
How has everybody been?
Doing good so far! Thank goodness. It’s hard to believe Thanksgiving is this week! We are staying put this year and I am not cooking. I found a creole restaurant I want to try that is serving Thanksgiving dinner so we will do that.
Made it to the Dr. appt and it went pretty well, better than I expected anyway. Got our refills! 
Years ago, my mother made this train set (our fireplace "mantle" is fake rock and covers the entire wall) Anyway, she is so proud of it (even has a few lights) It's made from styrofoam and lots of odds and ends. Have some pictures somewhere... will post them later)
I guess it’s Tombstone next.
Not cooking is always a plus. Here at dd’s it will be Turkey dinner for limited people.
We are not going anywhere this week either, just getting a small ham for my birthday and T-Day - there will be plenty for 2 days. I love ham and don't really like turkey much. Love the stuffing and cranberry though!
