I had put 2 drops in 15ml. Ended up adding one more drop and happy with it there. Did a Grapefruit yogurt.Thank heaven! I would've hated to have misled you, however unintentionally.
What percentage is working for you?
YES! I have noticed that too. I had made an apple cinnamon something which was what I was going for and it just kept getting stronger to me with the CDS.I made it and vaped it after 3-5 days. And I really liked it. Although as it aged the CAP CDS came to the front in a BIG way. At that point I dumped it because the cinnamon was too strong for me. IMO CDS is a tricky flavor to use if your not big on cinnamon.
That sounds yummy! Just those two, or did you have a base (bakery) too?I had put 2 drops in 15ml. Ended up adding one more drop and happy with it there. Did a Grapefruit yogurt.
It is an awesome resource. Many fine recipes. I especially like how everything is in one place. It's also perfect for getting an idea of how others are using flavors and in what %'s.Your recipe blog is awesome btw.
This is something I will have to try. I never would have thought of it on my own. I'll have to add the making for the s'mores to my next store run.microwave s’mores
I too give mine a warm water bath, I don't really keep it there for a specific length of time, though. One other thing I do after the warm water bath is I use a milk frother to blend the flavors.I use a warm bath to “steep” my juices right after mixing.
I'm glad you had the spares with you. This is something I will have to try. I never would have thought of it on my own. I'll have to add the making for the s'mores to my next store run.

Yesterday evening, I got home from a weekend hunt at the farm. I didn't have any luck but I did have a great time. There will be a Holiday Antlerless hunt starting on the 18th so I have plenty of time to get things cleaned up and ready, again. I did have one accident, I knocked my mod off a counter and broke the glass in my Ares 2 LE. I'm glad I try to have a spare at all times when I leave the house. For this trip, I had two spares because I'm a klutz. This morning, after getting caught up on two days of email, I ordered 3 more of the Ares 2s. After I get my check next week I'll order some spare glass. That should give me plenty of time to search for other things I really don't need.
Yikes. Well I hope you enjoy it. First time watching it?A good day to die hard.
No.seen it before.Yikes. Well I hope you enjoy it. First time watching it?
So when you say "Euro" does that mean it is a specific European made flavor? I have both FA Butterscotch and Caramel but not the Euro version.I'm also testing my creamy butterscotch cookie recipe. This one is a total keeper.
Creamy Butterscotch Cookie [not too creative, I know]
FA Madagascar (vanilla classic) 3%
FA Vienna Cream 0.8%
FLV Cream 1%
FA Cookie 1.5%
FW Butterscotch Ripple 3.7% (always needs help)
FA Butterscotch 2% (it's Euro, so less sweet)
FW Butterscotch 0.75% (a lovely true butterscotch)
FA Caramel 1.5% (Euro. There to balance the b-scotch's)
IMO there is no single butterscotch in DIY that can convincingly stand on it's own. Many are good but from my experience each needs the help of others in order to make a convincing b-scotch.
FW Butterscotch Ripple is a great flavor but it's super light on b-scotch. FA b-scotch and caramel are Euro, in that they are not sweet like most in the USA associate with either. FW Butterscotch is very much like the hard b-scotch candy we are most familiar with.
The FA Cookie can easily be swapped with INW Biscuit. I've made this recipe both ways. I used INW Biscuit at 1%. It's good with either although I prefer FA Cookie in this one.
@NolaMel, my fellow seeker of "all things butterscotch" I am thinking you would like this one.![]()
It's all peppermint... just that they add red food coloring to part and not the other... then swirl them together (at least that's my guess) Just to clariy... the correct answer would be sugar and/or corn syrupAre you sure? Candy canes are like 50% white. What is the white made of?
It's an older one (E-leaf Lemo2) but got several on clearance sale so still also have two brand new in the box. It has some issues (but don't they all) This time I got it right... vaping great. What rta did you rebuild?
I really appreciated the comment from him/her and I knew I would get comments like that... no big deal (I don't hold a grudge anyway) I do need to work on being less defensive.SMT you are such a class act. we have all had bad days and ranted at another. Ito think of some of my interactions on the forum. It is never appropriate to make another feel bad. We never know what someone else is going through
You beat me to it.
That sounds great (maybe add a very tiny bit of cinnamon)This morning, simply for a test, I added a little of my MF Caramel recipe to the RTA and am getting a very pleasing Apple/Carmel danish. Nice. The wonders of DIY never cease to amaze me.![]()
I have TFA Apple pie... it's just the opposite (not much crust) I wonder if they would work well together? From HIC's notes: "Savory crust with some flavor of FA Apple and light spice that many people will not notice. Apple Pie is not very sweet or fruity. The apple flavor is easily covered by other fruits, especially dark fruits and berries, so adding a small touch of Apple Pie to your other fruit can make a tasty pie."
That's interesting. I tried it and it is definitely cinnamon forward (and sweet glaze but lacking bakery) I mixed it with RF French toast... it totally took over!I made it and vaped it after 3-5 days. And I really liked it. Although as it aged the CAP CDS came to the front in a BIG way. At that point I dumped it because the cinnamon was too strong for me.
