He was a dang good QB.

In 1994 he was invited to try out for my Green Bay Packers. He was a very very long shot to make the team.

Especially when you consider he was behind Brett Favre, Mark Brunell and Ty Detmer. He was released. While Warner was with the Packers, the head coach was Mike Holmgren, Steve Mariucci was QB coach and Andy Reid was the offensive assistant.

We've had a couple decent QB's going back to '94. ;)
Lets not forget the great Bart Starr.

So is it just a straight vanilla recipe? Or like a cake or custard with vanilla?
It's my vanilla base. I'm always tweaking it with several different vanillas. I love all the different vanillas from the lighter, to the bright ones to the darker more earthy ones.

It's a really simple recipe. I usually make 240ml's. Once steeped it's easy to add different flavors. Cookie, biscuit, cakes, custards etc. Or caramels or butterscotch's. Or many different fruits will work too.

FA Madagascar (vanilla classic) 3%
FA Vienna Cream 0.5 - 1%
FLV Cream 1%
INW Shisha Vanilla 1%

Even though we are/were mortal enemies, when Favre came to the Vikings there was much rejoicing all across the state. "Did you hear the news?" "Favre is coming to the Vikings!!!" Et cetera. It was the greatest thing ever for a long time for the Vikes, that is until we met the "Saints" in the playoffs.

Morning, mixers.

Rain is taking a brief break, but temps are still way too high. 50 F atm, and while it won't get much warmer, still way above normal....

I can never forget Bart Starr. Here in Wisconsin you're born knowing all things Green & Gold. In 1967 my Dad took me to a game at the shrine of NFL football, Lambeau Field. I've been to many games there. IMO it's the best place to experience a game.

I still have fond memories of watching the Ice Bowl with my Dad. Bye bye Dallas. I think it's hilarious that Dallas is called America's team especially considering they weren't even a fart in the wind until 1960. The Packers were established in 1919. 11 championships pre SB era (no other team is even close), 4 SB wins, 20 divisional champs (including this year).

Go Packers!!! :D

Yeah, that stung when Brett signed with the Vikings. We heard all your rejoicing LOUD and clear in Wisconsin. IMO he's the best QB the Vikings have had since Fran. I don't think the Vikings have gone through as many QB's as da Bears have since Brett and Rogers. I lost count a few years back at 28. And they still don't have one.

I remember the bruise on Favre's leg from that Saints game. Nasty.

When I think of left handed quarterbacks, two come quickly to mind. Ken Stabler and Boomer Esiason, I'm sure there are many others.
I forgot about Steve Young.
They sure are a rare group. That Tua kid for the Dolphins is one, so I will root for him.

All great ones! Stabler, The Snake. Like you said earlier, Johnny U too. I really liked Dan Fouts too. If it wasn't for the concussions I think Steve Young may have won more SB's. Montana was a favorite too.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?

Late posting today. I did not feel good this morning at all but I managed to help with the early morning shopping. I think the 2 hours sleep I got didn’t agree with me. Oh well,I’m feeling better now.

    Strawberry & Cream

    MF Strawberry 2.5%
    FLV Cream 1%
    INW Vanilla Cream 0.5%

    6-7 week steep

I tested it this morning. It's good and a keeper. Smooth and creamy. MF strawberry is a weaker flavor compared to many of the other Medicine Flower flavors. Folks at ELR say the same.

I'll likely add something (cake, biscuit or a cookie) to it to give it a foundation. Maybe yogurt??? Not sure, yet. Still thinking.

I’m sure yogurt would work nicely.
