    Somewhere between here and there
It could be that the blueberry jam is too too sweet. I get sweet fruit on the inhale, so my wacky brain maybe registered that sweetness as strawberry. I used WF shortbread as the backup flavor to WF toast and butter (can’t recall the exact name off the top of my head). Thinking swapping the cookie for cereal 27 and a touch of AP????

If the jam is too sweet maybe try adding 1-2% ssa blueberry. It has a tartness to it. I didn’t like it much on the sft but when added to a sweet flavor, it really popped for me.

Okay - A Couple of Question for the "Multi-Users" . . . Do not want to use a piece of equipment and/or tank for the moment and want to put away . . . So 1) Leave tank as is or 2) Full up or 3) empty (possibly clean out) and /or remove or leave coil in tank before "packing-up" / putting away . . . Also I plan to pack-up/put away the "base" . . . Suggestions ? ? ?

    .
I'd empty the tank and clean it but leave the coil in place. I'd dry-burn the coil, so it would be ready for wicking whenever I decided to use the atty again.

ETA: As others' have said, the atomizer should be left unassembled for storage.

I wouldn't stick to that 5% number without trying Flavorah flavors at their recommended usage first. You may very well be surprised at the results. In my experience you can't really compare FLV to CAP or TFA in %'s, were talking apples and oranges IMO.

Flavorah flavors are super concentrated, so yes, much stronger. For example many of their flavors only require drops in a 30ml mix.

You might be interested in the recipe books Flavorah created called "Mastering The Art Of DIY Vapor" volumes 1 and 2. They are excellent and contain useful DIY tips and many excellent recipes from a variety of well known DIY'ers.

They are in PDF format on the Flavorah website. You can download them here. Vape Recipe Book – Mastering the Art of DIY Vapor – Flavorah FLV

Note: The recipes in their books are for 100ml of juice. So one would need to make adjustments in their favorite juice calculator.
Added this to the blog, too.

Hey, @Skeebo, have you looked for pawpaw trees? You're where they thrive, I gather. I'd like to be able to feel jealous of your getting to try this fruit. It sounds really tasty.

Zazie, it's crazy that you brought this up!

Up until reading your post a few seconds ago, I had never heard of these. Here's the crazy part, about 2 weeks ago Buster came in with an alien type fruit that neither my wife or I had ever seen. We were taking pictures of it and trying to find it on Google with no success.

It was the fruit from the PawPaw!

Here I sat wondering if someone was trying to poison our dog... Having lost Kai in September only added to my wonderment....

You just put my mind at ease! I'll have to look into them. We are renting at the moment, didn't want to buy a house and end up hating it here. Perhaps when we get our own property.:)

    Thanks Zazie!

Good afternoon in here! Hope everyone is well.
I really like flavorah. I've been using this line for about 4 years. I never had a bad flavor yet. I do have other flavor brands but I purged hundreds of flavors over a year ago. I saved a few from flavorart and capella. I have new ones from the newer flavor brands and they do not interest me so far.

The ripe fruit is safe, but apparently the twigs, leaves, seeds, and unripe fruit can be toxic, so I'd keep Buster away from them if I were you. And don't gorge on fully ripe ones yourself, either, because they contain neurotoxins that can cause trouble if you eat too many of them. You'd have to eat a ton before that became an issue, though.

    .

I vote for #3 - I've tried #1 & #2 and the tanks (all types) leak in time.
I'd also remove the coil and clean the tank.

What cookie do you speak of?
WF shortbread cookie. It’s a new to me flavor. Flavor notes put it as a not too sweet danish cookie like the ones that come in the round tin. Toast obviously wasn’t the right place for it, but it has possibilities. I think I’ll try and swap it in for biscuit in a known recipe to see how it plays out

I don’t have that one. I was thinking maybe bilberry, or acai? It’s just at 2 weeks. I’ll let it rest til 4 and give it one more try. Definitely too sweet for me right now. The balance of fruit to bakery feels right, I just need to adjust it all

As mentioned, might depend on how long they're going to sit. With my usual dozen going, some won't be empty for weeks, and with the KFs and Skylines I use, never a drip or drop.

If putting into long term storage, yeah, take apart and clean. Rather than lubing o-rings, I just leave the topper in pieces. No compression on the rings, no worry. I'd probably pull a blister pak coil, if I used 'em ;) Same rationale, no stress on the rings.

I do lube everything and assemble tanks for storage but I just screw the parts together enough to hold, not enough to compress the rings. The same with new tanks that I'm not going to be using right away. That way all the parts for a tank stay together and I can put several tanks in one box, so more stuff fits in a plastic tub.

    Should work better.

They claim as the neurotoxins really kick in the consumer goes through an intense feeling of euphoria right before a painful, grueling death. I'll stick to the tuna Sashimi.

I’d do the Acai at 1% for the sweetness.
