    Good Morning all!
    55 here and going up, should be a nice day.

    I must admit I didn't know what to do this morning - have coffee or espresso! So I made coffee and also 2 shots of espresso and combined them! W00T! I call it "The 911" because it will wake you up!

    @hittman here you go:

    I just got back from the opthalmologist. I got fitted for a regular soft contact lens instead of the hybrid lens. I can see well enough to drive and it will be way cheaper. My vision is much better now with two lenses in, but not perfect. It hasn't been perfect in years. With one hybrid lens and one soft lens, at least there's no issue with mixing up the two. :)

    Sounds like good news to me :thumbs:

    Good afternoon everyone.

    Since having the procedure done will there continue to be improvement over time? Having some independence back by being able to drive must be a relief.

    I think on this Macadamian nut biscuit recipe I want the nut to be the star. Keeping that in mind I think I’ll use just a single fruit plus the biscuit.
    Which fruit are you thinking? I must need to get lunch... all that comes to my mind are white chocolate chunk, macadamia nut cookies :lol:

    You could make the bottom two layers... top layer with holes all the way through, bottom layer no holes. Super easy to drill that way. Maybe thin plywood for the bottom layer.
    That's a good idea for the drill-press challenged.

    I may try a chocolate at some point. Right now I’m just trying to get a true taste of the nut. I decided on FW Raspberry.

    No, I'm pretty much back at MY normal. We did away with the monovision, where one eye is set for near vision and one eye for far. That has actually given me some improvement in my far vision and since I was using reading glasses before anyway, I really haven't lost much as far as near vision goes.

    I know you were worried about your vision getting worse. This is very good news :)

    I still have not tried Frozen Yogurt WF... I got it like 6 months ago. Sometimes while looking through flavors it's almost like Christmas... it's amazing. Memory is really getting bad.
    I haven’t listed a bunch of my flavors. I’m sure they’ll surprise me when I look through them....LOL.

    Sounds like a yummy combo. Macadamias are so rich tasting, a bright, tartish fruit sounds like a good match

    Ok, I have a question for anyone familiar with WF Milky Strawberry and Raspberry Syrup. Good tasting?. Any syrup taste in the raspberry?/how sweet?. Any ideas, suggestions on tester recipes.
    Beat me to it... I need guidance on some. I ordered a handful of SSA : raspberry syrup, compote cherry, bakery oranges, shortbread cookies, and apple strudel. I need to tackle those and some new WF ones before I forget I have them. I’m bad about just using my known favs instead of branching out and trying the other 400 flavors lol.
