That’s the one.
Ugh, Frannie just pronounced Orono "ah-RON-oh" in The Stand. For crying out loud, it's Stephen King's alma mater. Couldn't his son (one of the producers) have done him the courtesy of insisting she say it right? For shame.
(FYI, it's "OR-un-noh.")
Nice review, Uncle
The Stand is Steven King.Per your FYI, maybe Orono should have been spelt Orunno. And why did you add a 2nd "n"? Shouldn't it be "OR-un-oh"?
I would ask Frannie, specifically because she said she didn't do it. Usually the kid who "says" they didn't do it "did it".![]()
BTW, The Stand sounds familiar. Never saw it.
That sounds good. Is that the whole recipe? Or did I miss something?I actually ended up mixing some a few hours ago. 3% Peach Gummy, 0.5% White Peach, and 0.75% FA Pear. I've used the FA Pear a few times before and really like it for adding sweetness and juiciness to a mix.
Is that the trip where you and the police officer pranked your friends?Friends insisted i go with them to do Route 66,none of them did it before ( i had 2 times already) and they wanted me and my English speaking skills (none of them spoke a lick of English).
So i kinda had them in the grasp of my hand to ask for what i wanted,well...i told them i would go only and if only we rented out a 1958 Plymouth Fury to do the trip.
Lo and behold they agreed so my 3rd Route 66 trip was done with that marvelous...beautiful...spectacular vehicle![]()
72 Pontiac Catalina convertible here.Is that the trip where you and the police officer pranked your friends?
My very first car (1976) was a 1969 Plymouth Fury III. Similar to this one.

King and I voted in the same polling place in Bangor. Saw him there a couple of times.Yep,totally agree.
The Bachman Books? totally a must read for everyone, specially the long walk and the running man.
Schwarzenegger's version of the running man? total disgrace...i hated it.
And i am a HUGE Stephen King fan, just so you get an idea of how much of a fan i am let me tell you this.

The plugs were tight but it was the long plug boots that go down into the valve cover that were a pain.
I am always surprised if I work on a car and don't bleed a little (and curse a lot) Did it run better? How did the old plugs look?Once I got the first one off and grabbed a new plug, I realized that the auto parts store gave me the wrong ones. They were almost twice as long and not as big in diameter. So I took them back and got the right ones and finished the job.
I noticed a few minutes ago that I screwed up my rendition of the pronunciation and have edited accordingly (to "OR-uh-noh"). Unfortunately, my mistake has been captured in various quotations of my post, so my shocking error will live on.Per your FYI, maybe Orono should have been spelt Orunno. And why did you add a 2nd "n"? I can confirm that he is tall.

Of course I forgive you. Was just my attempt at silly.I noticed a few minutes ago that I screwed up my rendition of the pronunciation and have edited accordingly (to "OR-uh-noh"). Unfortunately, my mistake has been captured in various quotations of my post, so my shocking error will live on.
I'm sure our Fran knows I was talking about the character Frances Goldsmith in Stephen King's The Stand, but I hereby offer a heartfelt apology for my unintended slur. She's a compassionate woman. I have a feeling she'll forgive me.
