A measly foot???![]()
1st photo is 2 feet where my snowblower cut. That's how high the snowdrifts got in my driveway from this current round of snow that Fran and others out east are getting now. Some in the east will get more than I got.

2nd photo offers some perspective (taken from my porch). That garbage receptacle is ~4 feet tall. Look across the street at the minivan and you'll see how high we have the snow piled up currently. Also the little walkway across the street.
Ummm, have you considered living somewhere besides Antarctica?? Second story??!!!!!The snow drift on the south side of my house reached the second story, blocking the windows and ruining the screens. The road going up the hill was blocked for weeks. Meanwhile, the driveway never needed shoveling; the wind scrubbed it clean.
Not an every winter occasion.Ummm, have you considered living somewhere besides Antarctica?? Second story??!!!!!
I’m not 100% sure it was the same year we got buried here but it was more snow than I’ve seen in many years. It was very flukey. There usually not a ton of snow here, because of the water.
Whoa - home today with BP like that ? I really hope NOT !
Did they do an abdominal CT to see what's up in there ? (Stone/blockage/other ?)
Not a lot of snow here either because of the water. Ok, technically it is the Gulf of Mexico, and we’re farther south than the Florida panhandle... but yeah, no snow normally. It was very flukey. There usually not a ton of snow here, because of the water.
Have you put a call into your PCP? Sometimes your own doctor is more aggressive about finding a solution, not just getting you “ok” enough for discharge. I’ll keep you in my prayers that they get this fixedNo, no CT other than the brain one at the ER. I am home now still dizzy and with high BP.

For the price they should all be good. Not a lot of snow here either because of the water. Ok, technically it is the Gulf of Mexico, and we’re farther south than the Florida panhandle... but yeah, no snow normally.
I ordered MF white chocolate. I figure if it’s not incredible, I can use it for baking. Kind of hopeful about it!
No bp meds? That’s unbelievable. No, no CT other than the brain one at the ER. I am home now still dizzy and with high BP.
Yes, please do. I know all the crap about not taking someone else’s meds but do you know anyone on high bp meds that would share some.I'll call her tomorrow. Sooner the better.
What I’ve used of my others has been a few drops per 30 ml. A bottle should last me a lifetime like that. I used the orange in a batch of oatmeal cookies I baked (the regular ol back of the oatmeal package recipe) with dried cranberries and toasted nuts. 6 drops was enough for the whole batch of batter. For the price they should all be good.
MonkFinally found the picture! This was our “blizzard” when Monk was a puppy. Shut the city down. FYI... that’s his stuffed animal, not a live beastie

Haha, that's what I would get if I ate at any fast food place. Haven't had any fast food since the late 80's early 90's. If I ate at McD's or any of the others I would be sick for days.Well...I've heard that's sort of what some people get not long after they DO eat at potlucks!![]()
Isn't a winter nor'easter kind of similar to the lake-effect snow I get off of Lake Michigan but much bigger in scale? After a snowstorm gets out over the lake it's not unusual for us to get several more inches of snowfall at the back end of a snowstorm. Up to 1-2" per hour.It was very flukey. There usually not a ton of snow here, because of the water.
