Is there any truth at all to getting raspberry flavoring from a beaver? Has anyone else heard this. I have stayed clear of it due to this but want to make Frans Granola BAr
You can't get raspberry flavoring from a beaver. However, glands of a beaver produces a chemical that can be used to enhance flavoring in things such as strawberries, raspberries, vanillas, etc.

What does diy flavor have to do with a beaver
o_O More than I cared to know...

Vanilla and raspberry flavors might be enhanced by "castoreum," a mixture of the .... secretions and urine of beavers. It's also found in perfume. The FDA-approved product is categorized under "natural flavoring," so you won't know if you're eating it.

Or vaping it.

11 Disgusting Ingredients You Eat Every Day That Food Companies Don't Talk About

Seems to me that flavor enhanced by beaver "stuff" should have been banned. Well, that's our FDA!

Happy you asked? :D

ETA: Just saw Red beat me to it.

I would like to know who the genius was that figured out and tested beaver "stuff".

Can't imagine those first SFT's went well.

ETA: I think the person(s) who decided to use them as flavor and perfume enhancers are sicko's.

    Is that this one?

If so, I have mixed that one (except subbing for Shisha Strawberry) and I liked it quite a bit.

    No, it’s this one

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
I'm trying to recover from a night of spending to excess. Bought three liters of more than 100mg nic and bottles to store it in (can we still not mention specific nic strength over 100mg?), Kriemhild mod, Nautilus Prime X and 5 spare pods, and a small handful of other things. I already have a couple liters of 100mg in a freezer.
I just said to my wife in a text there will be no more significant vape purchases, possibly ever again. I'm sad about that...

Charging my newish Nauti prime. Didn’t like placement of fire button but I’m getting used it it now. It vapes good so I’m happy with that. I know some folks like the little Aspire AIO but as far as I’m concerned they’re junk. Just got a mouthful of juice from a new one. Luckily the only new one I have cause they’re going where they belong.
My wife loves her Naut Prime. She has used only Nautilus tanks for about 5 years now, different types though like Nautilus Mini and 2s. Our first and only pod system, I also bought some RBA heads for it.

Oh @hittman, I believe you were asking me about the Vaporesso Polar the other day. I got it out today and started using it. It's a nice mod. It has a bunch of extra features that I really don't understand, probably more for the higher wattage vaping. But overall, I like it. The big bright colored screen is a change of pace from the Solo.

    @hittman What's your favorite pod?

That’s a tough one. I would have to say probably the px80 for a pod mod and the Xros for a small pod device. The geekvape wenax k1 works really well too.

You must have a ton of pods by now.

Yes it was me. I haven’t used mine in ages. I think there was a firmware update available for it too.
