No spreadsheet. Much is handwritten in notebooks and on little pieces of paper. And then there are those things that are only in my head.Do you have like a spreadsheet for notes on different flavors? I'm just curious how you keep it all sorted.

I don't know how you keep that all straight then. I would need some sort of system in place. All these flavors, percentages, and mixes can get pretty overwhelming. No spreadsheet. Lolz, that is my system and it works well for me. I mean, there are certain flavors I use a lot and over time I just remember the %'s and whatnot to use. Same thing with certain recipes. I thought about putting everything on a computer, but quickly said nope, too much work at this point. If I was just starting DIY then I would have it all on a computer. Or in a cloud, so I could access the info from any device.I don't know how you keep that all straight then. I would need some sort of system in place. I probably shouldn't ask, but what's a...

I've noticed when looking at flavor notes on ELR that some folks copy other folks notes. Don't understand that.I originally thought about putting in useful notes and tips in my flavor stash on ELR.

But then I noticed that if you do that, it automatically gets posted on the Notes Section of the flavor page. I just wanted the notes to be for my use only and not clutter up the flavor page for other mixers.
I agree. Especially since they have an option for private notes for recipes. It seems only logical they would allow you to have private flavor notes too.I've noticed when looking at flavor notes on ELR that some folks copy other folks notes. Don't understand that.
I don't have any of my flavors or recipes on ELR. Wait, yes I do, six strawberry flavors are there. I gave up adding more because I felt it was a major PIA to add stuff there. The folks who run ELR let the flavor list get very sloppy and way out of hand. They should have been the ones who created and maintained that list.
ETA: They should have an option for making ones flavor notes private or public.
I did. I'm quite worldly for a hermit. You knew what the fluffer job was all about???

I tested some of my guava pastry (Pastelitos de Guayaba) mix today. After 8 days steeping it is good. The SSA Guava is excellent (gonna order a 30ml btl). I'm using both WF and VT croissants for the pastry shell. Combined they make a very convincing croissant. My recipe also has WF mascarpone cheese and a touch of vanilla. Can't wait to see how it is after another 2-3 weeks. I'll likely make adjustments and a bigger batch then.
What does it taste like? Besides "good, sweet, and savory." What flavors are actually in it?Has anyone else ventured with Calipitter Chow from M&P? I mixed up a sft and at day 2 the flavor is good, sweet and savory just as the reviews claim. I am curious to see how this develops.
Morning,RedMorning folks.

Not for me. I couldn’t get by the “sweet”.That is the magic question that we can’t seem to get answered. I hope I’m able to pick out something when I try it.
