That sounds good. I will be interested to know how the croissants are at 3% and 2.5% and also how they are with the Brie.

ETA: I think that would stand up to darker berries depending on your %'s.
    I’ll give it a shot.

    Somewhere between here and there
That's really sad....the big C is a terrible thing. Thoughts are with your friend and family

My wife had stage 2 at 36 years old. Luckily she was able to recover and is ok today at 53. I have a suspicion that the chemo triggered some of the problems she has now but can't prove it.

@hittman ....my Boxx has arrived...going to unpack it and decide on which coil to use....BP or nautilus. I've never tried the nautilus mesh coil that I've ordered to go with it so probably that one...the 2s :)

I put a nautilus 2s mesh in mine. It's the first time I have tried these coils and like it so far.

I can handle bad coffee. I used to enjoy Spam too, until the last couple of times, when it was so salty as to be inedible.
Blood foods? No no. Only had blood sausage and it was not good at all. Blood soup? Shoot me first.
You haven't lived until you've been to the Spam Museum

That's how it always works. Not long ago I needed to replace an AC outlet in my kitchen. Couldn't find any in my work area but I could have sworn I had some. I went and grabbed a couple from Home Depot. Then I found the ones I had in the cabinet under the kitchen sink. Good place for electrical supplies.
As far as finding things, the older you get, the worse it gets.

Thinking of a cheesy croissant base that will stand up to dark berries. My idea is

    VT Croissant 3%
    WF Croissant 2.5%
    FLV Brie 1%

    whatcha think?
That looks good. I took your %s, kept mascarpone and am thinking SSA cranberry jam 1.5%, VT orange marmalade 2%, and FA torrone 1% (for the almond, zest, and grainy). Does that look reasonable? The cranberry jam doesn’t sound too sweet in reviews

That sounds really good. Fingers crossed it turns out like it sounds in my head. I’ll definitely mix it if it does!
I’m going to give it 2 weeks. Small mixes steep faster and I only mixed my usual 15ml.

I didn’t think about that. Think I should switch to brie… I know irl it’s yummy with cranberry.
I mixed a lot with Brie before the mascarpone came out. They are similar but the Brie does have the edge and the cheesier taste,

    Afternoon Mixers!

Waiting on a Walmart grocery delivery, and it's 112 at Noon.

Started reading a book last night and wound up reading 40 chapters - I like it! It's a 5 book set for $18.99 on Amazon. Thriller/Action stuff. Look up "Saint Justice" by Mike Grist. Good stuff if you like John Wick or Jack Reacher type stories.

Christopher Wren Thrillers (7 book series) Kindle Edition (amazon.com)

yeah custards are...I don't know....I think it's a language difference there, what british custard is as to what american custard is

while it's not a custard, vt pudding base is nice
I'd think probably vt pudding base with some condensed milk or maybe even mascarpone cheese would probably be more the kind of custard you're looking for....something more like a thick milk rather than an eggy flavor
VT Pudding is a good flavor. I've used it on several occasions.
