Morning Randomers

Mixing and sampling for me today....searching for another all-day vape so I can get a break from my faves...you can always have too much of a good thing

@YoursTruli completely agree...I had a really hard time reading through the thread. You know it's gone off beam when there aren't any emotions that you can use.... Don't ever be the judge and jury....always forgive and forget. Life's too short :wub::wub:

Have a good day everyone and I'll try and join in later despite being out of sync :D

Remember when we were discussing colonoscopies back late last year?

Well, I had an endoscopic surgery after my last colonoscopy that led to severe sepsis, and a colostomy, resulting in a Two month coma and another month in physical rehab, learning how to walk again. I just got out of the hospital again on Wednesday after colostomy reversal surgery and I’m still waiting to see if it worked or not, with a follow up in Two weeks ( My gut looks like someone ran a steak knife down it and closed it with about Five staples, just in case they have to go back in and do an ileostomy) and then a race to see if I will be able to get myself back in shape in order to return to work in September. By my count, there have been over Twenty surgical procedures.

And you know what? I’m lucky. 600,000 Americans dead from COVID, Four Million worldwide, and counting.

God’s looking out for me. I’ve been blessed with an amazing medical team who have taken me under their wing and seen me home, and a family that’s been able to help me begin to pick up the pieces going forward.

Nobody owes me a damn thing. I make my own way in this world, always have, always will, but; there are times when people step up and help each other out.

It’s best to remember that, be grateful, and be ready when it’s your turn to do the same.

No judgement here: just passing along something I’ve had to learn a few times in this life.
I’m glad you’re out and doing better. You have a great attitude.
I admire you both. You get knocked down and get back up and fight harder. May you both enjoy good health and SMOOTH sailing! And GREAT vaping!

I get a lot of my pills and potions on Amazon....you've got to be careful to trawl through the crap though :)
Being unregulated, buying supplements can be very tricky. I've been at it for years. I was in a few clinical studies and learned a lot and what to look for. Many quack companies out there and as cheap as Puritan Pride and Swanson are, MOST of their products are quality. There are a few that are questionable, but they haven't managed to stay around this long and not build a good reputation. Vitacost is very well rated, along with most of Vitamin Shoppe. But, whatever you do, (not you, Charlie), do NOT vape vitamin products. Far too dangerous. Just my :2c: :)

You're probably right. I only got to watch it the first couple years.
I can't remember how long I watched it, but I'm pretty sure I watched til they took it off. I remember being angry that they stopped the show. It was WAY ahead of its time and seems to be a cult classic.

Good morning random folks :) Have you any plans today?
Trying to kill off really thick ivy roots. Grew some ivy years ago, it took over the whole back of my shed and under my deck. Became a good nesting place for critters and this year, chipmunks started to come onto the deck and visit. One morning I came out of the bathroom, and there was this little chippie, sitting on its hind legs looking OUT from my family room, like he was enjoying the view from INSIDE the house. And, as cute as they are, I don't want them setting up house IN my house and chewing wires, etc.....so, got the ivy pulled, but some huge roots still in the ground, although the ivy is gone. Sprayed with pure white vinegar, as suggested, and hoping that kills the rest of the roots. Put out owls, fake snakes and coffee grounds. People are gonna think it's a VooDoo house...:w00t:

Once I noticed that my flavor stash had already reached over 200, I decided to slow down on buying new ones for awhile. I need to make use of what I have for now. Plus, I've found a few mixes I really enjoy recently, so I'm in no rush to find the next big thing.

I would look online at recipes and be missing just one or two flavors and instead of just subbing like I should, I’d order the missing flavors then forgot about the recipes by the time they arrived.

My plans including asking myself why I am up this early on a Saturday. Other than that, I going to go for a run and do laundry.

    You?
I have a recipe I want to work on and possibly mix. Other than that I have no plans ATM.

I had a friend/coworker who retired early to care full time for her Mother with full blown dementia. After her Mother started crapping in the kitchen floor, she remarked that sometimes she wished her Mother would wander to the door and get lost in the woods. It was just a sign of the incredible sadness and frustration she felt. She took great care of her Mother until the end.

Another coworker went through a devastating tornado that wiped out both her home and her adjacent parent’s home. Her parents both went downhill with Alzheimer’s and violent type of dementia until she had to put them both in separate homes. My friend spent a week on the 5th floor of a hospital when she had a complete mental break down from the sadness and stress. She started screaming one day and didn’t stop when she completely broke. She took care of her parents til the end.

It’s incredibly difficult to care for parents with this condition or even aging parents. We are all just mere humans and not robots. Please be kind to everyone as we truly don’t know what someone is going through. I did not like reading the comments yesterday. Just makes me incredibly sad.

I've done that a time or two myself. Right now I'm still going through trying the 60 flavors that were sent to me recently. I've decided that VTA Yoghurt Drink is an awesome flavor. I've mixed three recipes with it, and they have all been great.

Good morning. In the spirit of fair play and too many reviews left to write, I’ve decided to wait to open my black Boxx since Fran didn’t get hers yet. I will however be expecting a picture when yours arrives Fran.

I have that one. I should probably try it.
