Since I don't share my adults that much, here's Big Mama (she has pretty eyes).

And here's Cupid. Named so because of the hearts she has all over her body. Her offspring usually have hearts on them as well.

Fran, I looked up the recipe on ATF. I don’t know what changes I made since I’m not home, but here’s the original.

We finally got the stove in this afternoon. Himself had to trim the countertop and cabinets, but finally it slipped in. He did a great job, and mom is happy as a clam. Aaaaand, she’s getting a new set of pots and pans. Hers she got as wedding gifts in the 50’s don’t work with the induction. Minor snag

Thank you! I just now got home and got caught up on the thread. I'm glad y'all weren't more talkative than you were--plants, cleaning, turtles, coffee, and, of course, DIY. I had a nice weekend with my daughter. We saw "Black Widow", which is totally confusing if you aren't an Avengers fan, which I'm not, and neither is my mother. My daughter picked it, and I let her. Lots of female fight scenes, if you are into that. And of course, the George Bush library. I got a picture of the first female president, and it isn't Kamala Harris.

I just checked the mail while walking the dog and had two packages. The 510 adapter for the P1 arrived in six days from the UK and the two Dvarw rtas I ordered from FT arrived. It’s too late now. I’ll take a look at them tomorrow. I really need to mix a bigger bottle of Charlie’s double raspberry recipe tomorrow.

That's interesting...I've never heard that before. The ones I've moved then, must've been "special", or not been quite right. 'Cause I always carry them directly out in front of me, with my arms extended out all the way, tortoise as level as possible, and it never fails...pee starts streaming down and invariably comes back to hit my legs and feet.

Maybe that rule only applies to turtles, and not to tortoises?? @Skeebo...any ideas?

I have no experience carrying turtles around.
But, what if you carried it with its head pointing toward you?

That is what I have read about it. I have been using FA to add crust to CAP Apple Pie, but I'm not getting as much crust as I would like.

Time to make something different again. Probably time to get some more flavorings ordered too. Been thinking about revisiting chocolate. With vanilla this time. I'm sure it will work. Why wouldn't it? What could go wrong. My last chocky was cheesecake and actually tasted like a fudgecicle. Vanilla in the right amount would only enhance that. I think I just might.

Playing with Amaretto and Vienna Cream this morning.

I love Vienna cream but haven't got the Amarreto....kind of unconscious desicion to stay away from boozy mixes....I don't imbibe anymore

Florida Softshell.... be very careful with those. They have a very nasty disposition and their necks are very long. I had one get a hold of my inner thigh when I was a kid and I didn't think she'd ever let go. When she clamped down I swear I saw lightning bolts and stars flash before my eyes.

That mouth looks like a pair of pincers!!
