So if I got the mtl Fl with the inserts could I then put in the bigger inserts and DL with it?

My A/C is fixed! He put in a new thermostat, and redid all the low voltage connections in the attic. It got up to 84 in here and is already sitting at 80 after 15 minutes. He stuck around for a while to make sure the problem was fixed.

Alternatively, for more airflow you could remove and run it without the AF insert. That would open it up more. I've seen a couple folks do that with theirs.

I was just thinking today that I had just one more review to write. Then I got home and found a big heavy package in the mailbox. Inside is three review samples from Geekvape. They said weeks ago they were going to send some stuff but never got tracking.

I’d actually say yes because it has 2 big inserts

No. The AF inserts are not cross compatible between any of the Dvarw MTL's and DL's.

Also the inserts from the OG DL will not fit in the DL FL. The DL FL inserts are more oblong.

By default the Dvarw MTL OG and FL come with the 1.2mm AF insert installed.

I'm running one of my Dvarw's with that one. In the others I installed more open AF inserts for airier MTL to RDL.

In my Dvarw DL FL I have the 2.5mm AF insert installed. For me it's an excellent airy MTL and also a decent restricted DL.

Don’t get me wrong, flavor is good, it’s just not as phenomenal as I was expecting. I do like that it’s quiet and smooth, easy to build… plenty of pluses to it. The insert in the mtl fl sure looks smaller than 1.2, at least compared to the 2.5, it looks maybe a quarter of the size. I’ll revisit them when I get the inserts. A little loose I can deal with, too tight just doesn’t work for me personally.

Yes. As long as both MTL's are FL's.

By default the Dvarw DL FL comes with the 2x2.5mm AF insert installed. That's 3.54mm total airflow. That is the default AF for DL FL's bought direct from KHW Mods or FT.

The optional AF inserts that KHW Mods makes are:
2x2mm = 2.83mm AF
2x3mm = 4.24mm AF
And they make a blank for drilling your own AF.


Looking at Fasttech, they do not sell any optional AF inserts for the Dvarw DL FL's.

If you wanted more AF you might consider buying direct from KHW Mods. They ship fast, as in 3 days. Last I checked they were still shipping via DHL.

I bought my Dvarw FL's (MTL and DL) direct from KHW Mods. When I bought mine I purchased several different AF inserts and other spare parts for each.

My DL came with a 3.0 installed (based on the number stamped on it), and a 2.5 in the goodie bag. I switched that out before I built. The mtl came with one installed, no extras (in the version I bought). I’ll unscrew it and see if it has a number stamped on it. If the inserts make it a fit for me, I’ll order from KHW. My aim was to use the clones as a less expensive way to see if the rta was a good match for me without dishing out a pile of $$$.
