    Somewhere between here and there
I don’t blame you. It has to be wicked boring trying to look busy.

I went ahead and put my name down to have Monday off. Maybe some new work will come in then. I need to put down some new mulch and trim some bushes around the house. We've got a burning bush on one corner in the front that has grown up against the house.

I’m not real familiar with apricot but I have an apricot/ cranberry croissant mixed. If I don’t care for it I’ll just up the cranberry.
I like FA, SSA and FLV apricots. Each one is very different tasting.

    I hope it's a big mix to try to measuer .07 %
My scale will measure the .07 at 15ml. Yours should too since you have the same scale. BUT nevermind because I didn’t mean to put .07%, .07 is the total amount I’m using.

My American Weigh Scales LB-501 can measure down to 0.01g. For me it's very useful when I only want to mix a 5ml or 10ml tester.

If Fran's scale goes down to 0.01g and she mixes 15mls, 0.07% would be 0.01 grams.

    In a 15ml mix 0.07 grams is 0.45% :)

What are the differences? I have/use/like FA Apricot and have (so far) resisted getting the others.

I was just about to drip some of my FE Green Tea mix. Had the bottle open and the dropper ready. Doorbell rang, mailman with a package. Come back to the kitchen table to find Angel cat knocked over my green tea mix. Was only 10mls. That cat!

Mix #5 just completed, FE Green Tea, but this time minus the FA Pear. SFT. That way I will get a good handle on what the FE GT tastes like. I bought some Twinings London green tea to compare it with. :thumb:

    Just my opinions. :)

The FA is the most realistic, it's a ripe juicy apricot. FLV leans sweeter and is almost like a baked apricot. SSA tastes like a fresh apricot but is different compared to FA. I want to say it's not as ripe as FA.

The SSA is not as strong as the FA is. I use FA at 0.75%-2% in a mix. The SSA needs to start at 1.5%-2%. I've used the FLV between 1%-2%.

If you are happy with FA Apricot you probably don't need the other two. A tiny amount of FA Liquid Amber would give you a baked apricot and add a little sweetness to FA apricot.

At some point I want to try the FA and the SSA together to see if they will make a bolder apricot.

I’ll probably mix my croissant Monday. My cases are in a ottoman at the foot of my bed and I don’t feel like moving the stuff on top. One of my gd’s has a birthday party here this weekend and I have her gifts piled on my ottoman. Just two boxes but they’re hefty and I don’t feel like moving them. Plus I’m not in a big hurry.

Okay, all this chatter about icream and pudding and custard bases has gotten to me. I broke down and bought the ingredients for Fran's ice cream base, except BCF didn't have HA French vanilla ice cream, so at least for now, I subbed VT. Don't hate on me too much. I'm also going to try a Jagerbomb recipe. I didn't really like any of the ones in ELR, so I'm going to try my own. Here's my BCF order. I'm hoping it'll be here by the time I'm back next week, because I'm going to be doing some major mixing then.

Just some misc parts. Insulators and spare tank sections (4ml and 2ml) for my Arise rta. It was DHL not my mailman. With the pandemic they all just ring the doorbell, leave the package and quickly split.

I have the FA also so I’m good.
