Ack! At last you made it back to the ground with (hopefully), less broken bones than you started with. I'm an earth centered guy, but flying has always interested me. If it weren't for my eyesight I would have been a pilot, alas genetics choose differently for me. The chicken, dreaming of being an eagle, I shall remain.
In any case, welcome back to earth, once again.
Midway through Texas I wanted to tell him drop me off so I could drive the rest of the way home. We did have a good conversation, he'd like for me to travel and do installs, or at least try again to train the guys we hired to replace me. I am getting old though, my body is older than my age. Terrible cataracts, immune system in the dumps, along with some kind of weird interaction with the stuff we dose the pumps with... I think my days in the industrial pump business are done.
Damn plane ride still has me so revved up... I probably won't sleep till morning.
I can't taste anything right now. Oddly, I gotta admit I am really in the dumps. I wonder if there is any correlation with covid and depression. The fatigue is incredible...
I did smoke while in Cali, and I don't mean nicotine either. I wish I could share pictures of the incredible stuff I saw. A 12 foot plant, wow...
I feel like I could sleep for two days...but you know me, wake up to eat lots of food. I think I deserve copious amounts of sushi.
