The roads around my house had about an inch or so of snow on them but as I went south to work it was a bit heavier and looked like the plows had not run over most of it or salted from what I could tell. My Jeep did really well and I didn't slip a tire in 4wd except for when I pushed the pedal a little too hard coming off of a stop light. It's funny because they cancelled trash pick up the rest of the week so they could pull those workers to drive plows but I didn't see any plows on the way to work.
Not everyone can drive a snowplow.

ECF still says my photos are too large!!
Stop trying to post 400MB RAW images from your Hasselblad H6D-400C camera. ;) :D

I usually reduce JPEG image size before uploading on ECF to something less than 200 kb.

Yes. I rotate all mods and RBA's. Why not rotate them? I do have a few favorites that are always in use.

From time-to-time I bring out a very bright pink Pico 75. It was my wife's favorite mod. :)

A long time ago in the Shiny thread several of the guys said they could never use a pink mod. Old stereotypes die hard I guess. I have no problem with taking it out and about.

Pink is just a color and I truly love all colors! That mod is a special one.

It is a task to dig through my stash when selecting new mods or RBA's to use. I think that's fun though. Sometimes I forget I have XYZ or ABC mod. Makes me feel like a little kid in the toy department of some old time department store. :)

Like you, I have a bunch of Pico 75's. I installed Arctic Fox on all of mine.

I'm pretty sure you've used Arctic Fox before. If you go into AF under TC you will see a feature called Preheat. That is where you setup a wattage boost and the total time for the boost.

I use Preheat only for 26g and thicker wire and also for claptons (and other exotic coils). If you are using 28g or thinner wire you don't want to set the Preheat too high.

Using your examples and 28g ss316L, I would start with Preheat setting as follows and then adjust to what feels good for you. 15w, Preheat 20w. 18w, Preheat 23w. 24w, Preheat 29w. If using 26g wire then set Preheat wattage higher to whatever feels best for you. I have the boost set between 1sec - 2sec (depending on coil).

In AF you have 8 profiles. You could always setup each for different wattages and Preheat settings. Or have 3-4 for TC only settings and another for simple wattage mode.

Using Arctic Fox will bring any compatible mod to nearly the same performance one would get from any DNA or Yihi mod.

Also, you Do Not need to lock the coil resistance for TC to work properly under AF or if using the default Eleaf Pico 75 firmware.

That is also true with any DNA or Yihi mod. In fact Evolv recommends not locking resistance under TC. I have each of the 8 profiles setup differently on all my DNA and Arctic Fox mods.

    Good luck :)

Complicated stuff. I do have AF set up but it was several years ago so I probably need to update it. I still have one Pico with the AF firmware loaded but don't use it any more. I remember struggling with TC back then. It was fun to watch the graphs in real time though.

I thought it was only DNA that you weren't advised to lock the resistance on.

I'm kind of fired up at the moment so maybe I'll give TC another shot. Vaping can be a bit boring when you stop getting new gear.

Good luck. I have a couple Picos but haven't used them in awhile.
