Honestly? No, not in that recipe. It would completely change the overall taste of the recipe. It would lend more of a wafer flavor to the recipe versus the pastry profile.I don't have the pie crust, would crispy wafer work?
You could try it and see. I'm not sure how it would taste as a sub. If I were using crispy wafer in that recipe I wouldn't use more than 1% (and that might even be too high).
