So, I have a couple of recipe ideas and was wondering if any of you folks see any glaring problems with my initial numbers here. Haven't mixed them yet - still need to wash up some bottles!

TPA Bavarian Cream • 2.0%
TPA Black Cherry • 1.0%
SSA Clotted Cream • 0.5%
TPA Dragonfruit • 0.5%
Cap Vanilla Cupcake • 1.0%

*********

SSA Clotted Cream • 0.5%
Cap Shortbread • 3.0%
INW Shisha Strawberry • 0.5%
TPA Strawberry, Ripe • 1.5%

Thank you for any of your thoughts!
I would do the same as Fran suggested with clotted cream, dragonfruit and vanilla cupcake.

Bump the clotted cream up to 1.5%, both recipes.

If I was making the second recipe I would increase INW Shisha Strawberry to 2%. It's a good strawberry flavor. I didn't like TPA Strawberry Ripe. It's been many years since I used it. No longer have it. So I'm no help with that one. :)

(Is SMT okay?)

I was figuring to use two strawberries to cover my bases as it seems like many creams and fruits use two or more similar concentrates to build a more rounded flavor.

I also have FA Strawberry Juicy and Cap Sweet Strawberry.

Good evening!!! :) Looks like y'all been busy today... I'm behind and still catching up.

Busy day here. A client brought in a couple of their horses for full board. It was a total spur of the moment thing. They're a really good customer of ours.

Earlier today I mixed 3 new vanilla/cream recipes 30mls each. Also mixed a new creamy cake recipe of mine also 30mls.
Good evening, SMT :) What’s the creamy cake recipe?

I also have FA Strawberry Juicy and Cap Sweet Strawberry.
My vote would go with the juicy.

I like SSA Juicy Cherry and SSA Compote Cherry. In the couple mixes I've tried them in I only added 2-3 drops of either one. That gave me really good cherry flavor with no cough syrup note.

Also have FA Cherry and FA Black Cherry. Same with those, using drops was plenty for me with zero cough syrup tastes.

I do think that "less is more" when it comes to cherry flavors. Too much will taste like cough syrup.

    Is SMT okay?
Yes, everyone calls me SMT. Family and friends have been calling me SMT for many years. There is only one person on ECF who knows what SMT stands for / means. ;)

Plus, it sure beats typing ShowMeTwice! :D

Good evening, SMT :) What’s the creamy cake recipe?
    Hi Fran :)

It's a new recipe of mine... based on past experience with the flavors I felt confident mixing 30mls.

Creamy Cake (probably not the final name ;))

    FW Creamy Sponge Cake 3%
    FW White Cake 2%
    FA Cookie 0.5%
    WF Vanilla Cream Extra 1.5%
    WF Cream Filling 1%

My notes said Sponge Cake is a weaker flavor that needs the help of another cake. White Cake is there for that. FA Cookie will add the baked crust and some complexity. This is my first time using this cream combination in a bakery mix.

Zazie, please don't blog this one yet. Ty

Right on! I like using two, or more, concentrates to create a more realistic profile.

I would remove TPA Strawberry Ripe from your recipe and go with FA Juicy Strawberry.

    FA Juicy Strawberry 2.5%
    INW Shisha Strawberry 0.75%

IMHO that would make a more convincing, and very tasty, strawberry profile.

I mix FW White Cake with FW Sponge Cake often. They are good together. Thanks for posting.

Okay, Juicy wins out over Ripe.

    You're welcome. :)

My plan with mixing 30mls is to split it up into 3 15ml bottles and then add fruit(s) or whatever to each. Then I'll have 3 10ml mixes.

If I remember correctly, ripe strawberry and sweet strawberry play well together

I found a wee bit of motivation and just got done washing up a dozen bottles and droppers.

Chaos may commence at any moment now!

(Probably not until Monday. Maybe tomorrow.)
    (Or 2:30 in the morning.)
Just curious. Do you have any of the newer flavors such as SSA Natural Raspberry, SSA Raspberry Syrup, WF Mora BlackBerry, SSA Cranberry Jam etc etc,

Well, I'll have twelve bottles ready, so I can start learning by mixing up a few variations using the different strawberries.

Or, I guess I should just try one variation for now in case it turns out to be a mix that I don't like at all!

No, none of those (yet...), from SSA:
    Peach, Sweet Type
    Lemon, Sour Type
    Juicy Orange
    Clotted Cream

Only raspberry is TPA Raspberry, Sweet.
No blackberries or cranberries (Zom-bie!) yet.

    I am flavor challenged. :(
