It's hard to believe but we have lows in the 60's all week and highs in the low 80's. I definitely need to take advantage of the weather and get my deck stained.
That’s not bad weather at all though I prefer highs in the 70’s.

    Morning, mixers.

Wow, they came up with a new forecast last night, no more mutterings about rain that doesn't reach the ground, now it's NO rain for at least a week. At least no dashed hopes ;)

Today and tomorrow to be in the mid 90s, UGH, then back to the mid 80s. ugh. But nights are still (again?) below 60 (barely), so we can get the house cooled down.

My blackcurrant meringue mix is almost 3 weeks old now.

    And? I.e. recipe?

I never like killing things. But I really need to clear out that flower bed and they weren't going to let me do it. They were all around the house too. My wife got bitten without provocation a couple of weeks ago just opening the back door onto the deck.

We get the occasional nest of ground living wasps as well, and, yeah, short of hoping they respect an eviction notice, about what has to be done. :(

Added two more new mixes to the steeping drawer, both sprouting from random generation seeds again. I put a little more effort in by reading flavor notes and adjusting the percentages instead of just using the average % from ATF for each flavor.

Also trying to name them instead of using something like Rangen 5:2.
Haha, so I now have "Is Apple Pie À La Mode?" and "That's A Lotta Creams".

If unflavored counts, then I guess I did three more mixes. Trying to cheat a little and run the unflavored through between testers instead of putting in new cotton.

Very nice review. Almost enough to make me start using mesh RDA.

It took me three tries on wicking on the first one. However, I think the ceramic center was sticking to one side at first and not holding the cotton against the mesh properly. The second one was fine with no issues.

Goodnight all, going to bed. I started doing something I haven't done in over 20 years and that reading before I go to sleep. I started with "The Terminal List" to see how it differs from the show, and it does a lot of things differently. Then I went to #2 in the series and now am on #3. I'm really enjoying reading again, and this is on a Kindle.
