Oh yeah, I forgot to add. You'll know, your brain and sense of taste will know and remember. Trust your gut !!! The first vape tells a story.

Did you try any after mixing it??? So you know how it develops over time???
Here is my first try,

It's only about a week in right now so, a little late, but I could give it a taste.
I would try some now.

From my experience, and in my very humble opinion, not everything requires a lengthy steep. There are mixes I like right off the mix. There are several others I enjoy off the mix BUT know will do best with a decent steep.

I've been toying with a few different yogurt mixes for a while now. I tried every single one off the mix and was very surprised how vapeable, smooth and tasty those were. Having said that, my better self knows each has been best served by a decent steep.

And I'll add this... when I create a new recipe I only make 10mls. A 10ml recipe, no matter the flavors, is not going to require the same amount of steeping time as a 30ml, 60ml or <gulp> a 120ml. 10ml 3-5-7-14 days (depending).

Having said that... the experienced mixers with their shows on YouTube will mix something and try it right off the mix. Many times they note "this only needs a 7-10 steep" or none. So there is that.

I mean, we're all different with what we enjoy. Our @*RJ* vapes her mixes right off the mix and loves them that way. So honestly, it just depends.

I once put a drop of real watermelon juice on my coil and vaped it.
Noooo...it tasted like a dirty old garbage can smells !!
That was a baaaaad idea !
I bet !!!

The Medicine Flower flavors, like VSO, are from actual extracts. I've had good luck mixing with MF flavors. Their dark chocolate is to die for. As are their strawberry, guava, caramel and peach. I've yet to try their vanillas or teas (but I will). I have a list of their flavors I want to try.

MF flavors are super ultra concentrated versus any of the flavors we mostly use. As in, one to three drops per 30ml for full and robust flavor. The MF flavors are more expensive. Using them in drops I've hardly seen a dent in some of my MF bottles.

Not all their flavors are strong. For example their caramel and strawberry pretty much requires 1% - 1.8% in a mix depending on the other flavors used. As a single I would, and have, used those in drops only.

MF flavors do require a long steep for best results. Think like minimum 4 weeks while some do better 7-8 weeks.

For the last several months I've been adding drops of any given flavor to an 8oz - 16oz glass of water. Some are very tasty !!!

That looks good !!! I like how you started low with everything.

FW hazelnut is a good one. It will blend in well with the two vanillas and cream fresh. Those four will help to balance the strength of the two coffees especially the FA Coffee Espresso.

I'm only missing FA clove (adds to next flavor order).

I'm trying it out in a No Limits Glok 24 RDA, but I have a dinosaur 24g KA1 build in it right now - slow to heat up. Guess I was going for old-school when I built it.
Just wound some twisted 30g N80 coils to put in there. Going to swap it out in a bit.
Tastes pretty good to me now, though I wouldn't call it Maestro. I think the flavor should come through even better with the new build in there.

Ummm, because it's a new toy to be played with. You know, we like toys !!!

There are a few new toys with this XF release.

For those who like competition checkout the Leaderboards.

Click on each one of the tabs above to see your user ranking along with everyone elses.

If @classwife and the other mods are on the ball (of course, I'm not sayin' they aren't or Classy will ban me two days in a row  ) the Leaderboards could be a really fun and novel way to increase ECF traffic.

    How so???

Simple! Run contests like the registered suppliers do with gear giveaways, ECF tee shirt giveaways (that we don't have, yet) and whatnot. And make the giveaways random, like say, the person who ranks #9 or #21 on number of posts at the end of a week or month wins. They couldn't do the person with the most posts because then you would win much of the time!

The same could be done with XP on the Leaderboards.

I mean, that's what I would do if I owned the site in order to draw more traffic and users. Everyone knows traffic is down (same as all the other vape forums are experiencing). And I am confident it is something that would set ECF apart from the rest of the pack. Word would spread!

Increasing our traffic and user base are stated management goals. How that's accomplished is only limited by limited thinking. Using our imaginations, brainstorming or whatever can be helpful in achieving the goals.

As usual, my :2c: in a tin cup. Y'all can tell me to bugger off or to shut-up anytime!!! :w00t:

I'll have to agree that drawing more traffic would be great.

And from my monitoring of the registered suppliers forums those giveaways draw a crap ton of users. Many of which we never see posting elsewhere on ECF.

Running ECF giveaways would be incentive for all users to post across the forum.

Blog update: I'm pretty sure the hyperlinks are included in the character count, and that's why I can't save to my blog at the moment. Until I find the strength to break the two existing entries into a total of five or maybe six, no new recipes will be showing up. I'm keeping track of them in the copy of the blog on my computer, though, and will add them to the blog on ECF eventually.

I hate to break up the blog so much. I feel like it'll be much less useful that way. But needs must, I guess.

Ooops!!! So I shouldn't be posting recipes yet??? Or at least until your blog is 'new and improved'??? I hate the thought of creating extra work for you.

As an alternative to your doing double work on your computer and then here have you thought about using the new Bookmarks feature???

    It's really simple to use.

To create a bookmark you click the Bookmark symbol on a post (like the posts with recipes for example).

The bookmark symbol is located immediately to the left of the post number. Like so...
    Screen shot 2022-08-27 at 5.02.57 PM.png

When you hover over it the bookmark symbol turns red.

Click it and you get the following popup...
    Screen shot 2022-08-27 at 5.04.58 PM.png

Name the bookmark (recipe name for example) in the Message field and click save.

To navigate to your saved bookmarks click on the Bookmarks symbol under your user name (upper right corner).
    Screen shot 2022-08-27 at 5.06.17 PM.png

You will then see the following page where you can manage (edit and delete) bookmarks by clicking on the Gear symbol on the right.
    Screen shot 2022-08-27 at 5.07.48 PM.png

Just a thought to save you some extra work Zaz!!!

@Zazie as an example I bookmarked the recipe I posted earlier. I named it as shown below.
    Screen shot 2022-08-27 at 5.21.24 PM.png

Versus not naming a bookmark like I did with Hitt's pork shoulder, outlaws and daughters b-day post.
    -1.png

Filling in the Message for a bookmark overrides what is displayed in a users actual post and makes for a tidier entry on a users bookmarks page.

I can see using the Bookmarks feature a lot across ECF. It will save time searching for posts and useful information.

The pork shoulder is finished and I’m letting it rest before shredding it. It’s for tomorrow. The outlaws are coming over for my youngest daughters bday.
I hope it came out really good.

Ok, now you can explain bookmarks.
