Got my first vape mail in a long time today. Nothing exciting. Ever since I started
vaping 10 years ago I've been using a rubber jar opening pad to disassemble
tanks. It was a freebie from a bank. I cut it in half so I had 2 straight edges. It slowly disintegrated, now all that's left is 4 small pieces which are covered in rips and tears and small pieces fall off whenever I use them.
A few months ago I ordered some silicone replacements. They were useless. Too thick and way too slippery. I pounded on them with 80 grit sandpaper and got a little grip but ended up throwing them out. Yesterday I found some thin rubber ones like my old one and ordered them from Amazon. They arrived in 24 hours and are exactly like my original. I just stripped down a
tank using a new pad. Cool.
I've noticed over the last week or so my news feed is plastered with ads for replica ancient military gear, mainly helmets. Roman, Greek, Persian, etc. Don't know if it's just me, like the AI figured out I might be into that stuff, or maybe everyone gets those ads. Maybe there's a movement of folks out there who like to dress up as soldiers in Alexander's army.
