I started using the fried custard longfill I got a while ago. It’s pretty good but not as good as the cream custard tobacco. There’s something in the mix that gives an almost tart bite on the tastebuds.
I have plans to try the Nutter Custard first.

    Somewhere between here and there
    Thank you, SMT!

Thinking about two flavor testing, I'm curious as to what flavor(s) you prefer to pair with a new one for your 2FTs?
I wouldn't say that I've found myself a go-to cream (or base) yet.

I asked Fran the same thing and she usually uses FA Fresh Cream or FLV Cream.
I know you asked SMT but thought I’d share my go to for 2sft. I use VT pudding base.

I had to take 4 mixes out of my big closet case to fill my divider. I figured I better take advantage of my day to mix and I mixed the 4 I had written. I still can fit another mix or 2 in the big case section so I should write a couple more soon. I was almost done mixing when I heard the knock on my door and my daughter came in. Luckily it was my oldest daughter that stopped in.

@gloopdegurp, by my very informal count, based on your posts, you likely have about another 60+ reviews to post

I usually always go with FLV Cream. Mainly because it's a super neutral cream flavor.

Nearly any flavor you know really well will work fine with an SFT. Sometimes I'll go with FW White Cake, just depends, really.

These days the only time I SFT a flavor on it's own is if it's something, ummm, "really out there". Like WF Yangmei Berry, FA Lulo, VTA Paw Paw and VTA Apollo Feijola (all good fruit flavors, FWIW).

And, I always start with a very low percentage. Depending on the flavor house, 0.5% up to a max of 2% (but, 2% is rare, for me).

I've also done SFT's where I only used 1 drop, MF Guava. Which BTW is the most accurate guava flavor around (IMHO). It's a super highly concentrated flavor. I've never used more than 3 drops in a 30ml mix. Flavor-wise, those 3 drops easily equal 2-3% SSA Guava (another excellent guava).

    Thank you, hitt!

I do have 10ml of that but VT isn't very easy for me to restock at the moment :(
(foreign orders aren't easy for me to do currently)

Next up for MaMaMaMa23 is Mango Knights, a mix inspired by the profile of a commercial liquid from Dampflion called White Knight (mango yogurt with strawberry)

The majority of this test was done using the Fat Rabbit Solo RTA (Cloudy).
In the previous tests, I thought that my wicking might have been off a bit and so did a little trimming which seemed to be an improvement. I favored Cloudy over the Aero tank after that.

At the beginning of this test it seemed that the yogurt was dominant but that changed after my wick adjustment.

I perceive a pleasant mango taste with no funky/musk/musty notes but perhaps a slight bit of tartness.

A light strawberry note mingles nicely with the mango here and there which gives a nice effect but certainly is not prominent.

The intended yogurt part is creamy and smooth and seems to me to come in more at the end but gives an overall good feeling.
It doesn't scream yogurt to me but is nice all the same.

This is not a strongly flavored mix to me (I still use commercial liquid at times) but I found it to be a nice vape.
I might bump the strawberry up just a bit to see where that takes it.

I think that the original liquid may have a slight cooling effect but I didn't try for that with this attempt.

So far I like this one the best.

    Testing setups:
Fat Rabbit Solo RTA with a N80 fused Clapton
Geekvape Aero tank with a SMOK TFV9 mesh coil.

Mango Knights (as tested, 7 week steep)

    2.00% Greek Yogurt (TPA)
    2.00% Ripe Strawberries (CAP)
    3.00% Ultimate Mango (Flavor Jungle)
    1.00% Yogurt (FW)
Should I stick it in the blog?

I actually do have a moderate stash of FLV Cream so might try my first few tests with that and maybe a couple with FA Fresh Cream to see if I prefer one or the other.
VT Pudding would have to wait until BCF carries them again, if they do.

I do have some of the SSA Guava :)

I would hold off for now as I'd like to try a larger test size to make sure it holds up.
I also might try it with the strawberry boosted a little to see how that is.

Thank you much for asking though! :)

Yeah, I figured you'd have said if you wanted me to add it. Just thought I'd check.

all the mango love here got me looking around for some new ideas.......

this one jumped off the screen....... screaming "make me, make me"

    dsc_1672-1a.jpg

sooooo........ when my intuition screams at me like that, then it's time to write something up

    FW Vanilla Cupcake 2.6%
CAP Cake Batter 0.5% - adds moistness
    FLV Cream 0.7%
    SSA Clotted Cream 1%
    FLV Ripe Mango 1%
    FLV Sweet Mango 0.7%
FA Blood Orange 0.5% - to add a light zesty note

percents might change slightly between now and whenever i mix it

i might pull one of the FLV mangoes and use VTA Passion Fruit & Mango instead

the Flavor Bible says mango works beautifully with passion fruit and orange
    i'm kinda leaning that way........
a true cornucopia of tropical delights..........

<<< ahem, alright SMT, enough!!! just hit freakin' Post Reply already >>>
