Good morning. Our heatwave has started and will be mid 90’s today. I have had other stuff going on and put off mowing but need to this morning.
Good morning, hitt. :) Our heat wave starts tomorrow with 4 days in the 90's. 84 for today.

Happy first day of summer, random folks. I've been in the 90s for several days with more predicted for the upcoming week. With all the rain we've had, the humidity has been unbearable. I did some mowing yesterday, got most of the front done before the rocks attacked my lawnmower and bent one of the wheels. I think it's repairable though.

Getting rid of rocks around here would be like getting rid of the beach, one grain of sand at a time. Everywhere someone dug to bury a line or pipe brought up a lot of rocks.

Well the rocks would have to go or keep your mover away from them.

I went to urgent care after work today to get my leg checked that’s been bothering me. The doctor said that she thinks it’s sciatica and gave me prescriptions for prednisone and a nerve pain medicine. She also asked about physical therapy and said she’d have them call me next week. It’s not cheap but I think it’ll be worth it.
I had bad sciatica decades ago after a minor car accident. Regular walking was what helped me.

The guy above is right movement is great for nerve pain. You should also try yoga, gymnastics, massages, a chiropractor which helps with pain temporarily but can help with correcting posture thus being good long term. Tell them about your condition if you decide to see a chiropractor tho.

You can also use Diclofenac sodium gel (NSAID) or something natural like arnica gel.

I got to the point where I could barely stand a quarter mile on the treadmill.

I did have a few visits with our chiropractor and it helped some but not enough. After about a week after my last appointment it got worse than before which prompted the doctor visit. Normally I walk a few times a week and do some weightlifting but got to the point where it hurt to walk long distance so moved to the elliptical which was less painful since there’s no impact.

I mowed earlier this morning and went and picked up my grub control for the lawn. The wife asked if I wanted to go to a couple stores with her so I’m gonna go since it’s too hot to work on the landscaping in the back.

Hopefully it's just a couple stores.
